A perfume expert reviews Kayali’s two new Eden scents – Sweet Peach and Plush Pear – with one becoming her favourite fragrance of 2026

As a perfume connoisseur who has dedicated the past few years to writing about fragrances and even crafting my own in the world’s perfume capital, it was Kayali with its floral fruity Eden Juicy Apple that truly ignited my passion for perfumes. Since then, my perfume collection has expanded to over 150 bottles.

The scents I continually gravitate towards are Kayali’s Edens. The brand’s Juicy Apple and Sparkling Lychee are among my most frequently used fragrances, so when I discovered the collection was welcoming two new additions, I was absolutely ecstatic.

Eden Sweet Peach | 35 features key notes of peach, red apple and frangipani, but for those keen on delving deeper, there are also hints of jasmine, rose and nectarine. Eden Plush Pear | 23 is considerably more floral, centred around notes of pear, gardenia and vanilla caviar. It also includes traces of orange blossom, mandarin and freesia. Both Eden flankers have a base of oakmoss, patchouli, vanilla, praline, musk, amberwood, sheer tonka and Kayali Signature Accord.

Commenting on the new peach fragrance, Mona Kattan, the founder of Kayali, stated: “Eden Sweet Peach | 35 was inspired by my lifelong love affair with fruits – especially peaches, which have always felt like little symbols of happiness to me. They’re juicy, radiant, and full of life on the inside, yet soft, velvety, and sensual on the outside.

“That beautiful duality is so me -bold and bright, but still tender and warm at heart. I wanted this fragrance to capture that energy: the way it bursts open with playful sweetness, then melts into a smooth, creamy trail that wraps around you like a hug. It’s uplifting, addictive, and impossible not to smile when you wear it – just like life’s sweetest moments.”

Eden Sweet Peach | 35 and Eden Plush Pear | 23 are the latest additions to the range

As reported by OK!, Mona commented on the pear scent: “Eden Plush Pear | 23 was born from my obsession with scents that spark emotion – those sweet, nostalgic moments that live forever in your memory. Growing up, I was captivated by pear fragrances; there was something so innocent, juicy, and luminous about them. Even now, that note instantly transports me back to those golden, carefree days when everything felt possible.

“I wanted to bottle that exact feeling – the warmth of sunlight on your skin, laughter echoing through the air, and that gentle sweetness that makes life feel magical. With plush pear, delicate florals, and creamy vanilla, this fragrance is my love letter to nostalgia, comfort, and the pure joy of being alive.”

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on both of these fresh fragrances, which means I now have all four Edens in my personal collection. Plush Pear leant more floral than I’d anticipated, which I’ll put down to the gardenia note. I think it smells genuinely nostalgic and comforting. There’s something about it that evokes sun-drenched childhood summer days spent at the park. It also possesses a genuinely sophisticated quality, bringing to mind my aunt who wears Chanel Chance (£149).

Sweet Peach is the fragrance I’m most thrilled about. It’s wonderfully juicy and creamy, the scent bearing similarities to Phlur’s Vanilla Nectar (£39) and NEST New York Crème De Clementine (£82). There’s a gorgeous warmth to it and I can envision reaching for this as frequently as Sparkling Lychee, which remains my most-used fragrance.

The lasting power and sillage is genuinely remarkable and I believe it’s amongst the finest new fragrances I’ve discovered all year. This is the sort of perfume that’ll have people moving closer to catch your scent. I’m completely hooked.

As these fragrances are brand new, there aren’t currently any critical reviews for them on Cult Beauty. Nevertheless, shoppers have shared opinions on other Kayali fragrances stocked on the site.

In a review of Yum Boujee Marshmallow (£110), one customer commented: “Absolutely stunning, the most realistic marshmallow perfume I have came across. Layers beautifully with Snow Fairy Lush! Can’t wait to layer with my other Kayalis.”

Another reviewer was less enthusiastic and noted: “Initially you get notes of the strawberries and cream but then it settles into a lovely vanilla, marshmallowy moment. It’s not subtle at all, also doesn’t last that long for the price. I’ll stick to vanilla in future.”
