Fashion blogger Becky Chorlton bought a suitcase full of unclaimed lost luggage from London Heathrow Airport and was taken aback by the suitcase’s contents when she opened it
A woman got more than she bargained for when she purchased a suitcase full of unclaimed lost luggage from London Heathrow Airport.
Forking out £130 on the website Undelivrd, which sells unclaimed Royal Mail and UPS parcels, Amazon and John Lewis returned packages, as well as lost luggage, fashion blogger and thrift shopping enthusiast Becky Chorlton was stunned to find an iPad among the haul. Upon opening the suitcase, one of the first items she spotted was a pair of UGG boots.
Eager to share her unique shopping experience, Becky took to TikTok with a video saying: “I bought unclaimed lost luggage from London Heathrow Airport and here’s how it went. I’ll pop the listing up on screen now of where I got it from but this is what ended up arriving at my door.
“If anyone recognises this suitcase then do let me know because I’d love to reunite you with all your belongings. Okay, so all the luggage they sell is unclaimed, apparently the airport do absolutely everything to track down the owner for months but unfortunately sometimes the only other option is to burn it which isn’t great for the environment or remove any personal info and sell it.
“This is actually my third time ordering one of these and let me tell you it’s definitely a risk but honestly, it’s so much fun. Once I’d taken off the black wrapping this is the suitcase that was underneath.”
Becky, a fashion blogger on TikTok, was delighted with her mammoth find—a pink suitcase so massive and heavy she found it hard to move. She described the huge luggage before excitingly revealing its contents to her viewers: “It was this pink one which was absolutely huge. It had this heavy sticker on the side and let me tell you, it was definitely heavy. I could barely even move it.”
With anticipation she unzipped the case and added: “Anyway, now it’s time for the moment of truth and to whack open the case to see what’s inside and here’s what I could see when I opened the case.” Her discovery turned out to be a bonanza as she unwrapped it layer by layer live: “It was absolutely jam packed full and I instantly spotted a pair of UGG boots which is absolutely crazy. Make sure you come back for part 2 where we go through each thing in this case.”
The reveal quickly went viral, amassing an eye-watering 13.4 million views, overflowing with 382,000 likes and sparking 1,168 comments. Viewers were left wanting to know more, leading Becky to post a second video where she meticulously goes through each find.
In the follow-up video, Becky flaunted the surprising items, exclaiming: “The first thing I ended up seeing were these black sparkly UGG boots. I have absolutely no idea if they’re real or not but they were brand new so who knows.”
Women’s UGG boots cost between £135 to £270 from official retailers, yet numerous high street stores are known for similar but more affordable versions. She also stumbled upon Juicy Couture slides and, bizarrely, a box of Pokemon cards.
Becky added: “The next thing I saw were these Juicy Couture slides and then I spotted this box of Pokemon cards which is so random. I have no idea why you need to take them on holiday but there you go.
“Next up I got two pairs of hair straighteners and then I spotted this Apple logo on this iPad which is absolutely mad. I plugged it in and the charging symbol and the welcome screen came up so I have no idea if it works or not but I’m feeling hopeful.”
After this find, Becky revealed a haul of women’s clothes from SHEIN, including an LA slogan t-shirt, a pink hoodie, and a black dress, all discovered within the abandoned suitcase. Not stopping there, she also found a collection of men’s toiletries, women’s makeup products, baby Adidas trainers, and even a toy tractor.
Her TikTok video showcasing the deep dive into unclaimed lost luggage quickly went viral with over 1,5000 comments. Commentators dived into the mystery; one user remarked: “I think they empty them and add random stuff,” sparking responses with another guessing that it “belonged to a family on holiday.”
A third chimed in with: “It’s crazy to think that a person would not get their luggage after packing their valuable items? Like what happened to that person?” Also, some users pointed out the owner could potentially locate the iPad, with one person expressing how they “would be sad losing this”. Offering advice amid the discussion, a wise traveller gave a precautionary measure: “Moral of this is always put an airtag in your luggage!”
