Wynsors has launched The Style Edit offering a range of on-trend yet affordable footwear finds starting from £10

When it comes to updating wardrobes for the season ahead, it can start to get expensive quickly. However, one high street retailer has just launched a range of budget-friendly footwear that’s set to make outfits a whole lot chicer, without breaking the bank.

Footwear brand Wynsors has launched The Style Edit, a curated spring/summer collection designed to take the stress out of getting dressed as the temperatures start to rise. Think easy, wearable pieces that strike that sweet spot between comfort, trend and affordability, from laid-back sandals to office-ready loafers.

While there’s plenty to love across the collection, it’s the Krush Kitten Heels that have grabbed my attention. For me, nothing elevates an outfit quite like a heeled flip flop in the summer months, transforming linen trousers and cotton skirts from beach to bar-ready with ease.

Minimal and versatile, the £18 slip-on heel is an affordable take on the trend. Designed in a classic black with a thong-style strap, it’s the kind of shoe that can be paired with anything, from jeans to dresses, and look great. They’re available in sizes 3-8, which is a slightly narrower range than some of Wynsors’ other styles, which offer a 2 – and there are no half-sizes.

Thanks to the Y2K revival, kitten heels have been steadily making a comeback into mainstream fashion, but these feel far from retro with a more modern square-toe silhouette. The low height makes them comfortable enough for all-day wear, and they even come in cream for those who would prefer a lighter palette. Personally, though, I wish they’d come out with a chocolate brown hue.

Krush Kitten Heels

This black kitten-heel thong sandal is a masterclass in modern minimalism, blending the ease of a summer flip-flop with the refined silhouette of a classic heel. This versatile day-to-night staple is perfect for everything from upscale events like weddings to casual brunch dates.

Elsewhere, PrettyLittleThing is offering these Brown Pu Square Toe Thong Mid Heeled Mules in black, cream, brown and gold for £18.75, down from £25. While PLT’s are on sale, Wynsors still beats them on price. Meanwhile, River Island’s Red Faux Suede Toe Thong Heeled Sandals offer a chunkier design for £46.

The wider Style Edit from Wynsors has reportedly been handpicked to suit women ‘aged 30–55’, but truthfully, I consider the collection to be pretty ageless, spanning above and below the targeted demographic.

One of the most budget-friendly pairs in the edit is the Cage – a £10 90s inspired jelly shoe with a distinctive diamond-patterned upper. Available in sizes 2-8, they boast a translucent finish that lends itself to both beachwear and casual outfits. The open-weave, cut-out upper ensures maximum airflow, keeping feet cool and comfortable during warm summer months.

Another stylish pair comes in the form of the Zoe flatform sandals (£20). These feature dual-wide straps, accented with oversized, gold-tone buckles that provide both a secure, adjustable fit and a touch of luxury. Set on a chunky flatform sole, they’re ideal for petite wearers looking to add height to their outfits without wearing heels.
