Huawei is quickly establishing itself as a provider of budget-friendly fitness trackers and watches. The Huawei Band 9 Smart Watch keeps track of your steps, sleep, workouts and other body metrics, while the battery lasts for 5 days.

It’s less cumbersome than a standard watch, and it’s compatible with both iPhone and Android, so users aren’t limited by their phone type. Best of all, it’s priced at £29.99 at Argos, making it significantly cheaper than competitors like the Fitbit Inspire 3.

There’s a savvy way that shoppers can snag this highly-rated fitness tracker for half the price – thanks to a clever trick from Top Cashback and its £15 sign-up bonus. This reduces the price of the Huawei Band 9 to just £14.60, with additional cashback savings on top.

New customers to TopCashback will pay £14.60 once all the cashback and the bonus is paid. Existing members of the cashback site will pay £14.73 after cashback.

The Huawei Band 9 weighs only 14g, so shoppers will hardly notice it on their wrist, making it perfect for daily wear. Its slim design also means it won’t disturb the wearer during sleep, allowing for comprehensive sleep data collection, reports the Daily Record.

The Huawei Band 9 will track fitness, heart health, steps and sleep. It’s affordable at full price, but new customers at Top Cashback can benefit from an extra £15 off the price.

Monitoring sleep is an excellent way to keep tabs on recovery during training, whilst also ensuring a healthy sleep routine is maintained. It offers tracking modes for a wide range of sports, including running, cycling, swimming, hiking and more.

All workouts can be monitored, with the information shared with the Huawei app on a mobile, compatible with iPhone and Android.

There’s a heart monitor on the back of the Huawei Band 9, enabling continuous tracking of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, as well as sporting performance. There’s also step monitoring and menstrual cycle monitoring for women.

Argos customers are genuinely enthusiastic about the Huawei Band 9, with one delighted buyer saying: “When I tell you I only have to charge this watch every 5 or so days, it is amazing for battery life.”

Another five-star reviewer added: “Great battery life and can track health progress really well”.

The cost is also something that resonated with customers. As one customer noted: “Cheaper alternative to a Fitbit”, whilst another mentioned that it worked ‘really well’ considering the price.

It’s not entirely positive, though, with several purchasers remarking on the set-up process: “It took me several tries to connect to my phone.”

The Huawei Band 9 isn’t the only option out there, with the popular Fitbit Charge 6 providing all the same features, plus built-in GPS for £139 from Amazon.

How to get the Huawei Band 9 via Top Cashback

To get the best price on the Huawei fitness tracker, shoppers need to go through the steps below. Note that the price paid will be the same, but Top Cashback will top up your account with the cashback earned, which brings the price of the product down. Here’s how it works:

  1. Head over to Top Cashback via this link and sign up as a new customer to earn £15 credit
  2. Once signed up, search for Argos and hit “Get up to 1.57% cashback”
  3. You’ll go through to the Argos site, where you can search for the Huawei Band 9 and buy it as normal
  4. The cashback earned will be credited to the shopper’s account
  5. That cashback will then be made available to withdraw and spend
