Wondering how Vogue Williams still looks bronzed a week after entering the I’m A Celeb jungle? We’ve found out her secrets for achieving a flawless fake tan that lasts

With 2025’s series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! now well underway, we bet that most of the campmates are really missing their home comforts and favourite beauty products as they’re stripped of all luxuries except essentials for the few weeks they’re in there.

A late arrival into the jungle, TV presenter and podcaster Vogue Williams previously joked that she would miss fake tan the most while on the show – perhaps unsurprising as she has her own highly-rated self tan brand, Bare By Vogue. We bet she gave herself a thorough layer of tan before heading in yet, despite not being allowed to bring products like this into the jungle, her skin is still looking looking remarkably bronzed and glowing – and we’ve found out her secret.

In an exclusive interview with OK! Magazine last year, Vogue revealed her top tips for getting a flawless tan before a holiday (not that her stint in the jungle could really be called a holiday…), and ensuring it lasts well without turning patchy or streaky.

“Prep three days before your holiday, starting with your hair removal and exfoliation. Prepping the skin is key for an even, natural looking tan,” she advises. “Get yourself smooth, exfoliated and moisturised. Spend a little more time exfoliating where your skin is thickest – on the hands, elbows, ankles and knees – to avoid the biggest fake tan giveaways.

“Two days before you go, start your tan. Start with your feet and work your way up to get a great even bronze all over. Don’t forget to take care with your feet…I always use Bare by Vogue Face Tanning Mist, currently £14.45, on my feet and really buff it in with the body brush.

“Then I’ll tan my face last, and always remember to go a shade down for your face products – I use the Ultra Dark Lotion, currently £20.83, on my body and I will pair that with the Dark Face Tanning Serum, currently £20.80, on my face. Leave your tan to develop for 4-6 hours (remember to wash off the excess) and you will have a gorgeous golden glow ready to lie poolside.” (Or in Vogue’s case, creekside.)

From watching the show, we’ve also discovered the clever way that Vogue is getting around the show’s make-up ban. The secret, as she casually revealed to Ruby Wax around the campfire, isn’t a miracle lip balm or a smuggled gloss, it’s ‘permanent liner’– a semi-secret she says she’s relied on for years because “it lasts for ages.”

According to leading permanent make-up artist Karen Betts, today’s lip blush is softer, more natural and designed to look like your lips on their absolute best day.
