The robot vacuum ‘has good suction’
Robot vacuums with self-emptying stations are becoming more common, but they often come with high price tags. However, households are now saying they have ‘no regrets’ after picking up an ‘ingenious’ robot vacuum that’s currently available with a 55% discount.
The popular Eufy Robot Vacuum C10 is now down to £178.99 from £399 on Amazon, and it’s selling fast with more than 400 bought in the past month. This vacuum comes with a range of important features, including an auto-empty station that transfers dust into a 3-litre bag after each clean.
With its large capacity, the dust bag only needs replacing around every 60 days, according to the website, which then helps to reduce ongoing maintenance. Its ultra-slim 2.85-inch design allows the vacuum to reach under low furniture, such as beds and desks, making it easier to clean areas that are often missed.

A built-in CornerRover arm is designed to improve edge and corner coverage, reducing the need for manual follow-up cleaning that usually takes up a lot of time and energy. The C10 delivers up to 4,000Pa of suction power, Amazon says, working alongside a rolling brush to pick up pet hair, crumbs and everyday debris.
It also uses point laser navigation to map rooms and create efficient cleaning paths across the home. The robot vacuum connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is designed to work best when floors are free from loose items such as cables or toys before cleaning begins, according to Amazon.

If buyers want to splurge out a little more, they could also have a look at the Hoover HG2 Turbo Slim Hydro Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £269.99 from Argos. This one is 8.3cm tall, which makes it ideal to glide under beds, sofas and furniture, and it can even be scheduled to clean using the HG Robots App.
A second choice is the Beko RoboSmart Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £219 from Currys, currently reduced from £299. This one uses advanced LDS navigation technology, which means it can scan and map homes easily without bumping into anything. Shoppers can also once again custom set cleaning schedules with the HomeDirect app.
Back to the Eufy vacuum, it has been rated 4.2 out of five stars from more than 27,000 reviews. One person said: “No regrets buying this gadget. Effectively moves over hard floors and various rugs of different types, it’s quiet enough that the dog ignores it, it’s so easy to empty.”
Another person wrote: “Brilliant. Ingenious.” A third shopper commented: “Great robot, I’m really happy with it, makes life easier, it has a good suction, lasts a long time, great self-empty function, and I’m surprised how much it holds. Easy to set up, maps rooms really well without help from me, would recommend. Now I know how good it is, I wish I’d got the one with the mop function too.”
This customer removed a star and said: “It works well, I thought it might be a bit of a gimmick, but actually it’s ok. I think it’s better on solid floors than carpets.”
Another added: “Good at moving between rooms, not too loud. Lighter weight than expected. Doesn’t do corners well but it does try. Good for a busy house with kids to top up clean, but you still need to do your proper hoover if you like a thorough clean.”
