Those looking to upgrade their entertainment with a handy and easy gadget that can bring smart features to any television may be in luck. With options for all the latest streaming platforms and more, there’s a limited-time deal with this number one bestseller from Amazon, but it won’t last long.
Until 31st December, shoppers can snag the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus streaming device for £24.99, down from £59.99, saving a handy 58%. It’s a number one bestseller in Amazon devices and accessories, having received an average rating from shoppers of 4.7 out of five over its nearly 28,100 reviews.
Being the latest version of Amazon’s Fire TV Sticks, the brand reminds shoppers they can trade in old models for 20% off, with free returns available, too. Users can stream all their favourite TV shows and films from Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and more in vibrant 4K Ultra HD – but it’s worth noting that subscription fees may apply.

However, there are other services that can be streamed for free, as users can access thousands of free films and TV episodes from ad-supported apps like Twitch and Pluto TV. Those looking to get into gaming may be in luck as well, as being one of the only devices that supports the Xbox app, buyers can stream games on the device with no console required, Amazon says.
Being an Amazon device, it’s designed with Alexa integration, meaning it’s perfect for smart homes with hands-free voice controls. That also means functions like searching or finding specific shows are made all the more easy by simply asking Alexa without the need for typing on the included remote.

Back to the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus streaming device, Amazon shoppers have left rave reviews. One shopper said: “Great to watch live TV from many countries with an amazing quality screen. Works a thousand times better than a smart TV. Worth every penny. I just regret not buying it earlier.”
Another said: “Amazon Fire Stick is great value for money, easy to set up and connect. We take ours to Airbnbs and hotels due to it being portable, (it has) great streaming capability, sturdiness, and quality connectivity. Voice recognition works great once set up, highly recommend.”
A third added: “Good device, so quick to set up. Auto connected to my accounts on my apps and my Amazon account.”
Some shoppers left feedback, however, as one found the supplied cable was slightly short. They said: “It was quick to set up and I needed an extension to reach my socket. The cable supplied is a bit on the short side. The HDMI extension isn’t the most useful but can be depending on the HDMI ports on your TV or monitor. Overall the picture and sound are fantastic and (it’s) very easy to navigate (the) menu. The remote is compact and just perfect, the quality of the product is excellent. Very pleased with the purchase.”
Another said: “It’s a good device and it does what it says on the tin. It was good for our spare TV, which has a poor Wi-Fi connection for streaming. My main gripe, though, is that in the year of our lord 2025, they are still using micro-USB for the power supply.”
