Sky Mobile is offering the MacBook Air M2 for £17 per month in an end-of-year bonanza
Apple fans are snapping up the MacBook Air at its lowest price ever this Black Friday, thanks to a deal from Sky Mobile. It is offering the MacBook Air M2 for £17 per month, down from its usual £20.
This works out to cost 56p per day on Sky’s monthly plan, making it their ‘lowest price ever’. The laptop has a 13.6″ display, 256GB storage, 16GB RAM and comes in two sleek colours: Midnight or Starlight.
It’s worth noting that the MacBook Air M2 was released in 2022, so it isn’t the latest model. Sky also offers the newer MacBook Air M4 – launched in March 2025 – for £22 per month.
Customers should bear in mind that both deals come with a 48-month contract; however, Sky allows customers to upgrade to a new device after 36 months without incurring any extra costs, according to the Daily Record. The MacBook Air M2 deal includes a 100MB data allowance, which could be quickly used up by frequent travellers.
For those planning to use the device primarily on WiFi – such as at home or work – this may suffice. But anyone intending to use it elsewhere might want to consider upgrading to one of Sky’s data plans.

Sky Mobile is offering the MacBook Air M2 for £17 when spreading the cost this Black Friday.
These range from 2GB for £1 to unlimited for £25. A balanced option could be the 40GB for £10 plan, which comes with a 12-month term.
Sky isn’t the only retailer offering laptop deals. Argos is also slashing the price of the MacBook Air M2, from £999 to £699, but Argos warns that this deal is ‘in demand’.
Meanwhile, Amazon is offering the newer MacBook Air M4 at a reduced price, though it’s still a bit pricier at £849, down from £999. Despite being around three years old, the MacBook Air M2 still packs a punch with its features, including a sturdy aluminium body that’s 1.13cm thick.
It comes with a 13.6″ Liquid Retina display that supports a billion colours, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and a four-speaker sound system with Spatial Audio. Other features include a backlit Magic Keyboard, Touch ID, and a host of Apple Intelligence features.
While it arrives with macOS Sequoia pre-installed, it’s compatible with Apple’s latest software, macOS 26 Tahoe. On Amazon, the MacBook Air M2 has a 4.7-star rating based on more than 1,100 reviews.
One satisfied customer said: “Great looking product and good quality, keyboard is lovely to use, and the screen quality is amazing. Great spec for the price and fits right in with my iPhone and iPad, would recommend.”
Another added: “Absolutely brilliant. The Retina display makes everything look stunning. The colours are so vibrant, and the text is incredibly sharp.
“The second thing you notice is how quiet this is – there is no cooling fan. Complete silence. It’s hard to describe how satisfying it is to type on – the keys are responsive, and they feel so comfortable. Worth every penny.”
Another user struggled with making the switch from Windows to macOS, noting: “Switching from Windows is painful, macOS doesn’t offer the flexibility like Windows.”
One person said: “It’s absolutely perfect. I transitioned from Microsoft to Mac because I use an iPhone, and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. The MacBook Air is sleek, portable, lightweight and extremely efficient.
“It’s easy to set up, and the interface is simple to get the hang of. I’m not a gamer, but I use design apps like Canva and CapCut, and the MacBook has met my needs above and beyond.”
