Shoppers have plenty of options to choose from as the viral trend continues to take over UK gardens

Home Bargains shoppers can get their hands on new versions of the viral garden lights that people are snapping up quickly. These charming lights add character to any outdoor space and stand out from anything traditional.

The viral hot air balloon lights, which come in smaller versions for £ 3.99 and bigger versions for £5.99 each, are sold out online after being shared so much on social media. You will have to take a chance to find them in your nearest Home Bargains store instead.

Now, the discount store has expanded its range of balloon-inspired lights. The growing collection is ideal for those who want a little more choice in how and where to place them in their garden.

For people without anywhere to hang lights, an alternative can be planted into your lawn. The Firefly Hot Air Balloon Stake Lights cost the same as the small floating balloons (£3.99) and give off the same ‘magical’ glow.

Home Bargains is now also stocking a pair of Heart-Shaped Hot Air Balloon Solar Lights for £5.99. If you plan on creating a vibrant display of soaring balloons in your garden this summer, they’d match up with the rest of the range.

There’s also a £7.99 version that comes as a set of string lights. These would be perfect for attaching underneath a pergola or across the top of a fence to make it look like the balloons were taking off into the skies.

Finally, the Hot Air Balloon Mobile Solar Light includes six balloons that look like they’re in flight. The warm white glow are said to provide “enchanting” illumination across your outdoor space.

People were quick to share their love of the whole collection, which is sure to be featured in many gardens this summer. On Instagram, one said: “Oh wow! How stunning do they look.” Another added: “These look amazing!” A third said: “I definitely need to treat myself to these!”

Other stores are jumping on the trend too – with Asda, B&M, The Range and B&Q all getting involved. Most of the budget-friendly options cost as little as £4 per balloon.

Solar lights are a great choice for the garden as they’re usually much cheaper and easier to install than wired lighting. They are also much more cost-effective in the long run, taking up little of your electricity budget as they only require some natural sunlight.

You can see other types of solar lights at Home Bargains online here. More items are expected to be added to the garden range as we get closer to the spring and summer months.
