Shoppers will be able to treat themselves or someone else to a shopping trip with the new cards that are now in stock
Home Bargains fans can be treated this Christmas (or sooner) with a new gift that is coming to all stores. This month, the discount retailer has released something those who love to shop will enjoy.
Posting in Home Bargains Appreciation Society on Facebook, staff member Erin shared a photo of Home Bargains gift cards that will be available in stores from today (October 7). The cards can hold anywhere from £10 to £150, according to the packaging.
She wrote: “Available in your local Home Bargains stores from tomorrow. For all the people that have been waiting for these to come!”
Shoppers will be able to load up the cards with as much as they want in time for Christmas, at checkout. Then, they will be ready to use for a shopping spree.
The gift cardws also feature the classic Home Bargains colours – light blue and red. Fans were quick to heap praise on this new product. One said: “What a time to be alive!”
Another added: “That’s my Christmas sorted! Nothing else but HB vouchers please!” A third admitted: “Love this! Might give me a little self control with spending as well!”
Someone else added: “Lovely little idea by Home Bargains. Well done!” Plenty of people had questions about how the cards would work. Erin shared what she claims she knew about the new products in the comment section.
She said: “When you go to pay at the checkouts we enter the amount you’d like on the card between £10 and £150 on our till, after swiping the card through to activate it. Then, when you’ve paid for it, you get your normal receipt for it and your gift card one with proof that’s it’s activated.
“If you are buying a gift card in with normal shopping too you don’t worry about the rest of your shopping etc being shown. The gift receipt comes as a separate just with the balance for the gift card.
“You don’t have to include the gift card receipt if you don’t want to though either! You could just tell the person how much you’ve loaded onto the card for them.”
