When it comes to packing light, underwear is one of the hardest things to streamline, especially for longer trips where comfort, quick washing and space-saving all matter. But shoppers say they’ve found a “perfect” solution in a pair of women’s undies that wash and dry “in no time” and are small enough to fit inside a lipstick.
Paire’s Lipstick Underwear has been designed with travel firmly in mind, arriving in a compact lipstick-style case that slips easily into hand luggage, backpacks or gym bags. The clever packaging has caught attention online, with reviewers praising how practical the underwear is for holidays, hiking trips and multi-day travel.
Made by Australian essentials brand Paire, the Lipstick Underwear focuses on comfort and performance rather than fashion trends. “We made these because travel makes normal underwear annoying,” said Nathan Yun, co-founder of Paire.
“Lipstick Underwear is genuinely comfortable, it packs down into a lipstick-size case, and we use RegSilk protein fibre in the gusset so it feels cleaner over long days.” First up for grabs is the Classic Bikini Lipstick Underwear – Pack of 3 for £36.
These come in sizes XS-M or L-2XL and the three-pack is a mix of colours: sky blue, peachy and midnight. The undies are said to be ‘lightweight’ and both travel and skin-friendly.

According to Paire, the underwear has odour control and clean-feel benefits thanks to being made from RegSilk protein fibre – regenerated silk cocoon protein fibres. Not only that, but they feature quick dry technology which means they can be dried in just 60 seconds using a standard hair dryer.
Another option on the Paire website is the Full Brief Lipstick Underwear – Pack of 3 for £39. These come in the same sizes: XS-M or L-2XL as well as the mixed colour pack or all black.
The main difference are the cut and design, as they are briefs rather than bikinis. They are still incredibly lightweight, so won’t show through clothes. Both bundles give you money off the more you buy – any two for 5% off, any three for 10% off and any four for 15% off.
If buyers want a cheaper option, they could instead try the Sloggi 3pk High Waisted Full Briefs for £28, available from M&S. These come in sizes 10 to 28 and customers say they fit true to size. They are made from a soft fabric which is said to offer a gentle stretch for a flattering fit, with the high waist design providing extra coverage and support.
A slightly more expensive option is the Jude 2 Pack Leak Proof Pants High Brief for £45 from QVC. These come in sizes small to 3XL and are designed for ‘comfort and confidence’, as they feature a proof leak design.
However, Paire’s Lipstick Underwear have garnered high reviews. One shopper said: “I bought my first bundle for overseas travel. They were perfect, easy to wash and dry and really comfortable. I have since bought another bundle. I am a 14. I have some of each size. Both fit. The larger size gives me full butt coverage and a nice high waist at the belly button. I got the smaller size for when I need them to sit under the belly button but still with fullish butt coverage.”
Another commented: “These were great for a recent hike, where I was trying to keep weight to a minimum. So light, easy to wash and dry, and super comfy. No wedgies! These are my go-to hiking underwear now.”
A handful of others only gave four stars, for example: “Very comfortable but beware if you tend to have longer nails and it’s very easy to punch through the fabric with them if you’re not careful (lesson learned lol).”
Most people were happy with their purchase however, with one customer writing: “These will be great for overseas holidays, so light. Easy to wash and dry in no time.”
