If you’re ready to start planning your festive party outfits, Hannah Cooper-Dommett’s brand new Warehouse launch is a must-shop – I’ve already snapped up two major pieces

We know autumn has only just started, but there’s no denying that Christmas is already starting to creep up on us. Whether it’s pre-ordering your Christmas dinner or getting a headstart on your Christmas shopping, we’re all starting to plan for the festive season.

One thing I couldn’t wait to get started on, though, was our party outfit planning, especially when I saw Hannah Cooper-Dommett’s new collection with Warehouse. The high street favourite has been making a recent comeback after relaunching earlier this month, and Hannah’s partywear collab is the perfect way to come back with a bang. Several key pieces from the collection have already landed on the Debenhams website, and I couldn’t wait to snap them up.

The new launch is cool, confident and carefully curated, and features some seriously stunning pieces that I can already tell will be ones I go back to time and time again. There was one dress nn particular that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on after seeing a preview of it, and I was thrilled to spot it in the first set of pieces launched.

The Embellished Structured Sleeveless Mini Dress is admittedly a splurge at £99, however the second I saw it I knew it would be something I could wear plenty. And after trying it on, it may just be my new favourite dress. Ever.

It has a structured shift silhouette that nips in at the waist and flares out over the hips in an A-line shape that proved to be incredibly flattering on my curvy figure, and the high neck and sleeveless design made it look chic and sophisticated. What set it apart from a regular little black dress, though, was the multi-coloured embellishments scattered across the fabric.

The little pops of colour and shine made it the perfect understated party dress, that makes a statement whilst still being timeless and elegant. It’s also easy to style; I paired it with some stilettos with a rhinestone detail for a luxe look, but you could just as easily team it with some metallic platforms or even a colourful pair of boots for an edgier look.

Oh, and the best bit? It has pockets – what more could you ask for?!

The second piece that went straight into my basket was the Premium Pocket Detail Fitted Blazer, £89, which comes in both red and taupe. I opted for the red hue to make it more of a statement piece, and it’s fitted silhouette made it a proper power look.

It’s fitted across the waist, with a slight flare at the hips that gives it some serious structure and drama, and the four pockets – which are fully functional, FYI, give it an elevated utility look that stops it being too prim and proper. I will say that although my usual size fit me just fine, I could have gone up a size to prevent slight pulling at the buttons.

I wanted to lean into the 70s vibe of it, and teamed it with some straight leg jeans and heels, but you can also get the matching Premium Super Wide Leg Fluid Trousers, £59, for a full power suit look.
