The Vax Blade 4 Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has been significantly reduced on Amazon
Amazon has slashed the price of the Vax Blade 4 Pet Cordless Vacuum, which is specially designed to tackle pet hair. Originally priced at £259.99, it’s now available for £135.01 – a saving of £125.
The vacuum has a 45-minute run time, ideal for quick spruce-ups around the house. Its motorised pet tool works to remove stubborn dirt and pet hair from various surfaces.
The vacuum head features ‘Antimicrobial Protection’ to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi on the bristles. With more than 7,000 customer reviews, this vacuum cleaner is a popular Amazon buy.

One shopper said: “This is a great machine. It has all the best features of a cordless vacuum and has made them better. Before this Vax, I used a Dyson rechargeable, but always found the latter blocked easily and when emptying it was quite fiddly.”
They continued: “The dust/dirt container on the Vax is larger than the Dyson and is much easier to empty because it detaches completely from the motor. It can be emptied from either end though I find it better to take the filter out as it’s quicker.
“There are 3 battery indicator lights which lets you know when a charge is needed. Suction does not decrease as the battery loses power. Detach the battery and it recharges in an hour though the initial charge takes longer than this.”
Dyson, a top player in the vacuum game, is offering a deal where shoppers can save £100 off the V8 Advanced model. It’s up for grabs at £229.99, down from its original price of £329.99.
Another Vax vacuum customer shared: “After using the vacuum for two years, I have no issue with the weight although due to its design, it won’t stand on its own, which can be inconvenient at times.
“The collector is awkward to empty. What saved this from being a two-star is that it has very good suction on carpets and rugs and light pick-up on other flooring.
“It does not handle anything much larger than dust very well such as cat litter, it really struggles to pick these up. The anti wrap does not work and one of the two batteries has failed, it refuses to charge. I will personally not buy a Vax again”.
Another third wrote: “Battery charged as expected and easy to put together. It was not as noisy as some users’ videos seem to show which was a nice surprise.
“Light and easy to manoeuvre. I like that the light isn’t on all the time (I know where I need to vacuum), but just comes on in turbo mode.
“Stands up when propped up against the wall so might not need a wall bracket. The dirt container comes out and fits back easily. Easy to empty. Pleased with my purchase for the price.”
Another commented: “I enjoy using this. It is light but powerful. It needs to be taken apart each time for a clean before putting away. It gets clogged up easily otherwise.
“Very nicely designed and it is not fiddly after practice and getting used to it. (Pull out the entire filter to remove stubborn dog hairs and carpet fibres a 30-second job after the hoovering).
“You will need to empty often. I liked it from the start but thought it was too cheap and therefore, would be rubbish. I was so wrong as it is a gem. 10/10. Better value than a Dyson.”
