The chef has opened 120-seat Lucky Cat on level 60 at 22 Bishopsgate, offering a pan-Asian menu with dishes including soft shell crab maki, uni toast and “The World of Wagyu” with prime cuts from around the globe
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has significantly expanded his London presence, unveiling four new establishments, including the city’s highest restaurant, all within the same building.
Situated on level 60 of 22 Bishopsgate, the 120-seat Lucky Cat offers an Asian-inspired menu featuring dishes like soft shell crab maki, uni toast, and “The World of Wagyu” with premium cuts from around the globe. The restaurant’s unique features include 360-degree views of London through full-height windows, an open sushi bar, and a guest-facing kitchen allowing diners to observe the chefs’ work.
An express lunch menu provides three courses for £35, with brunch available on weekends. On the same level, the Lucky Cat Bar accommodates up to 60 patrons, offering a “Lucky Negroni” and a sophisticated martini menu featuring citrus, floral, and umami options. The bar remains open until 3 am from Thursday to Saturday, adding to the late-night dining and entertainment options.
Moreover, level 60 also houses the exclusive 12-seat chef’s table, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, an extension of the renowned Chelsea flagship, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and 23 years of holding three Michelin stars.
To further enhance the experience, the floor features DJ sets from Monday to Saturday until 1am and on Sundays until 8pm, while Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High offers a complimentary chauffeur service for guests traveling to and from Liverpool Street Station. This comprehensive expansion marks a significant milestone in Gordon Ramsay’s culinary empire, reinforcing his presence in the vibrant London dining and nightlife scene.
The Gordon Ramsay Academy Powered By Hexclad is also part of this gastronomic extravaganza, offering hands-on classes where foodies can whip up everything from Bao buns to a classic Beef Wellington.
This trio of eateries snatches the title of London’s highest restaurant from Duck & Waffle, which sits on the 40th floor of Salesforce Tower. The building boasts Europe’s speediest lifts, zooming upwards at eight metres per second, and offers diners breathtaking views of Tower Bridge, The Shard, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Battersea Power Station.
Mr Ramsay shared his excitement: “I’ve been lucky enough to open restaurants all over the world, but there’s something truly unique about London. It’s where my journey began, and it’s the city I’m proud to call home. Watching it evolve into a global culinary powerhouse has been remarkable.
S”Building this beautiful space has been an ambitious project, but that’s exactly what makes Gordon Ramsay Restaurants so special— we never stop pushing boundaries. I couldn’t be more excited to open three of our most iconic restaurants, all reimagined, taken to new heights, and built under one roof, it’s a dream come true and a major milestone for our business.”
The grand plan will round off with the opening of Lucky Cat Terrace and Bread Street Kitchen Bishopsgate later in 2025.
