The best selling perfume has been reinvented for those who love something a little sweeter and those who lean towards wood and spice

At this point, it seems like everyone has heard of Glossier’s bestselling scent that claims to be different for every single person. You Rêve has become something of a trend classic with it reportedly selling one bottle every 40 seconds on Space NK.

The classic scent is a simple ‘skin enhancer’ consisting of just four notes: pink pepper, iris, ambrette and ambroxan (woody, leather smell). The resulting scent has built up a massive following with loyal shoppers wearing it year after year.

If you’re not a peppercorn type of person, it turns out that you don’t have to miss out on You at all since the brand is now launching two new scents: You Rêve and You Doux.

You Doux takes a step away from the original pink shade with its bottle instead featuring a white design. It’s described as a ‘soft and serene woody blend’ while the original is a little more musky.

Its blend of notes has been seen in different variations for centuries and is sure to leave a comforted feeling. It opens with palo santo, frankincense and myrrh before settling to its Ambrox base.

It’s undeniably unisex although the notes are more commonly seen in fragrances aimed at a male audience. If you like something woody then this is likely your best fit from the You range.

You Rêve is for those with a gourmand taste when it comes to perfume. Gourmand scents make you smell edible. It’s the sweetest of the three as it opens up with buttercream, followed by plum butter, toasted almond, iris and white sandalwood. As is expected with this range its got a musky base driven by Ambrox.

Although stock levels for the two new You fragrances are unknown at present, Space NK has dropped the original in price by 20% – letting fans snap it up from £25.60.

Juliette Has A Gun’s Not A Perfume has been compared to You as it’s similarly a skin scent that refuses to outright identify as a perfume.
