One dog owner said she has transformed her dog-smelling kitchen from wet dog smell to florist
Having a furry companion brings endless joy, but let’s be honest – they can sometimes leave your home smelling less than fresh. From shedding fur to the occasional mishap, nobody wants those odours hanging about.
One dog owner claims her home now has the aroma of a luxury spa, thanks to a bargain find from Home Bargains that she absolutely swears by. TikTok creator Bran, posting under the handle @Branese, boasts over a million followers and regularly shares lifestyle snippets featuring her two kids and her pooch.
In a recent clip, Bran couldn’t stop raving about a Home Bargains kitchen floor product that’s currently available at a reduced price online, reports the Express.
Sharing a video captioned “I can confirm my house looks and smells STUNNING! I am obsessed”, Bran introduced her followers to the new ‘Midnight Forest’ cleaning fragrance.
Demonstrating the products in action whilst sprucing up her home, she explained: “A cosy night in has not felt as good as this in a long time. I am truly not at peace until my house is clean.”
Walking her followers through her routine, she added: “One thing I love about this range is that it is all the same scent. In my opinion, my house smells like a spa.
“I have a dog, she practically lives in the kitchen and she stinks. But the Cif Midnight Forest Floor Cleaner turns it from wet dog to florist.”
At present, the Cif Midnight Forest Floor Cleaner is available for £1.59, reduced from £2.49 online.
However, if you’re after a more natural solution, or need something suitable for carpeted areas, there’s a kitchen cupboard staple that could work wonders for freshening up your home and banishing unpleasant pongs.
GetAgent has suggested turning to baking powder, otherwise known as bicarbonate of soda, which’ll only set you back a quid.
You can pick up bicarbonate of soda from The Range for £1. Alternatively, Clean+Natural Bicarbonate Of Soda is available from Savers for £1.19.
Colby Short, CEO and co-founder of GetAgent, explained: “Baking powder is a great, natural deodoriser.
“Sprinkle some onto a soft surface you want to clean, allow it to sit (overnight if you can) and then vacuum it up the next day.”
