The Staub Pumpkin Cookware range is priced between £24.95 for the smallest 12 cm Pumpkin Ceramic Cocotte and £319 for the largest 24 Cm Pumpkin Cast Iron Cocotte . You can also pick up the Ceramic Pumpkin Set for £79.95 (down from £109.95) which features a set of 4 ceramic pumpkins in 2 colours and 2 sizes (12cm and 15cm).
The smallest dishes (the 12cm and 15cm ones) are made from ceramic and aren’t suitable for using with a direct heat source, such as putting in the oven or microwave. They are, however, perfect for using as individual serving dishes for things like soup, or for holding dips, sauces, side dishes or even sweets and snacks.
However, the large 24 Cm Pumpkin Cast Iron Cocotte is perfect for preparing all those cosy autumnal homecooked meals, and can be used with any type of cooker, including on an induction hob or in the oven. It has a diameter of 24 cm, a height of 15 cm and a capacity of 3.45 litres, with handles on the side which make it easy and safe to remove from the heat after cooking.
All dishes in the Staub Pumpkin Cookware range come in both black and orange except for the larger 24cm dish which only comes in orange, making them perfect for all kitchen aesthetics as well as sticking to the cosy autumn vibe. Staub isn’t the only place to pick up themed cookware, however.
Le Creuset has the Cast Iron Pumpkin Casserole Dish in a choice of six colours, with the 24cm dish priced at £289. You can also pick up a small sized Tomato Casserole Dish from Dunelm for just £10 each, which are great for creating a complete tablescape.
However the Staub Pumpkin Cookware range has been praised by shoppers. In reviews of the 12 cm Pumpkin Ceramic Cocotte, one shopper said: “This little ceramic is elegant and at the same time practical to have at home. It makes my autumn tables more elegant.”
Another agreed: “The cutest little product! I’ve been obsessed with making our dining room cozier and this was the perfect addition to our kitchen/dining area. We bought two – one we have been using to store candies and the other we have been using for soups or for side dishes (: just make sure to review the specifications so you don’t accidentally crack it. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be due to the fact that there isn’t proper care for the product!”
Whilst a third said: “Perfect for roasting garlic or for heating appetizers to also serve in.”
In fact the lowest review was a three star one which simply said: “Love Staub everything, wanted something festive. Very small. Will be cute with charcuterie board.”
Whilst a fourth happy shopper wrote: “Beautiful and practical!”
