The former Made in Chelsea star has struggled with her skin and acne for over a decade, so takes her skincare routine pretty seriously – here are some of the products she swears by

Georgia Toffolo, the ever-glamorous star of Made in Chelsea and jungle queen from I’m a Celebrity, has often been open and honest about her skin struggles. The TV personality has battled with acne since she was 13, even filming an ITV documentary investigating the acne industry called In Search Of Perfect Skin.

And in pursuit of her own ‘perfect’ skin, Georgia takes her skincare routine incredibly seriously. A firm favourite for the past 18 months has been Pai’s Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil – a £33 skincare hero which helps Georgia ensure all makeup, SPF and London pollution is rinsed away at the end of the day.

“If I had a gun to my head and could only choose one product, it would be that,” she admits. “I am a very big fan of Pai’s double cleanse . You do the oil cleanser first and it just gets every single scrap of makeup, sunscreen, Halloween stuff – you name it, it just comes off.”

Georgia, who admits to being quite ‘liberal’ with the cleanser, goes through at least one bottle a month, and she can’t stop raving about how beautiful the product packaging is. “They come in these beautiful long, big glass bottles, and I adore it. It’s a big win that it looks good and it works. I am shocked at how much I go through them, I threw one away just yesterday.” Her obsession with the product extends to both her homes in London and Scotland, where she has it proudly displayed on her transparent skincare carousel – another Amazon must-have.

The 29–year-old first discovered Pai after researching ‘non-toxic, clean skincare’ options. She was ‘hooked’ after discovering the founder Sarah’s story and philosophy behind the brand. “I had an aversion to oils for a really long time because I thought they’d make my acne worse,” Georgia said, “But that’s just not how it works and I’m 30 next month so I’m just quite unlucky to have acne. I wonder if for years I missed out on brilliant products that packed a serious punch for skin health because I mistakenly thought they might give me more spots.”

Georgia’s obsession with skincare continues with Medik8’s £39 C-Tetra Serum , which she discovered while browsing in Space NK. “Even the name sounds like it will do some serious things to your skin,” she said. “I really love Medik8 and their C-Tetra serum is the best one that I’ve tried.”

Medik8 is known for its potent formulations, and this particular serum boasts 7% potency , which is suitable for sensitive skin, and works to brighten uneven skin tone while reducing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles. It boasts a 4.8 star rating on the Medik8 website, with shoppers praising it for its glow-giving ability.

One said: “Most of my friends say I have great skin and look 10 years younger than my actual age.” With another commenting: “Very nice treatment in the morning, also a good base for makeup, makes my skin glow.”

Another, not quite as satisfied, commented: “I received this serum as my birthday gift. Usually I prefer lighter vitamin c serums that absorb into the skin however I find that this one feels a little more oily and it takes a while to absorb in my skin. It does give my skin a glow but I don’t prefer it to other serums I have tried or used.”

Meanwhile, another user couldn’t stop praising: “I’ve been using this each morning with the daily moisturiser and wow, what a difference it’s made to my skin. It’s so soft and plump. It looks brighter and firmer too. I wait until it’s fully dry before applying the moisturiser afterwards and then wait a good while before applying makeup and it works well for me. Really pleased with this purchase.”

When it comes to makeup, Georgia’s go-to for flawless coverage is Rimmel’s 35-Hour Lasting Finish Foundation in the shade 103 True Ivory. “It’s just a brilliant sliding scale foundation,” she said. “By that I mean you can do a tiny bit on a brush just under your eyes and look really radiant like you’ve got nothing on. But if I’m going to a big event I can layer it and it gives such brilliant full coverage – I love the freedom of having a bit of both.”

The £10.99 foundation hasn’t left her makeup bag for the last month. She added: “We travel so much, so with my skincare I have some in Scotland and some in London, but my makeup bag comes everywhere with me so once a product is in it’s in and I’ve been using it for around a month.

Even today, just weeks before her big birthday, Toff still remains candid with her followers about her skin. In a recent Instagram post, she added a note to the caption, which read: “Side note but this video is the first I’ve shot in YEARS where I forgot that I wasn’t wearing make-up.

“Then when I was editing it, I didn’t even notice I wasn’t wearing any. This is probably a non-story to many of you but so much of my life has been defined since I was 13 by how bad my skin feels or looks. So for both my skin and confidence to be in a place where I could be so relaxed to start recording and edit the whole thing only noticing right at the last minute because of some of my minor neck acne is a really big deal for me.”
