One delighted buyer said: ‘Nice fresh colours, really brightens up my room and makes it look clean and fresh.’
With the cold snap leaving us all shivering, it might feel like spring is lightyears away. But the brighter mornings will be here before you know it, and if you’re keen to freshen up your interior space in time for the lighter months, Debenhams shoppers are singing the praises of a pretty bedding set.
The Dreamscene Spring Blossoms Print Duvet Cover with Pillowcase usually costs between £23.99 and £36.99, depending on the size you require, but a 38% saving has seen the price fall to between £14.99 and £22.99.
Coming in a choice of yellow or pink, the 2-in-1 reversible duvet cover set features a blossom floral print, while on the reverse, there’s a colour-contrasting smaller print. It’s made from a soft blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester that Debenhams says delivers “ultimate comfort and durability”.

The set also features matching pillowcases to complete the look. Buyers have been broadly very happy to date. One said: “Great price and beautiful quality. I would highly recommend. 100% satisfied. Thank you.”
Another left their thoughts: “Washes really well. Brings the colour out more when washed. Will match our newly redecorated bedroom perfectly.” A third was also thrilled: “Nice fresh colours really brighten up my room and make it look clean and fresh.”
Despite the glowing reviews, some had reservations: “You could read the paper though the cover, very poor.” Another noted a similar concern: “Returned due to quality of material. Too rough and thin.”
Elsewhere, if a warm duvet is on your shopping list then Dunelm’s Teddy Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set is another popular choice. The price is a bit cheaper too, starting at £11.20 for a single and £18.90 for a double.
It comes in a wider selection of colours including olive, duck egg, rose pink and mushroom. It’s also gone down well with buyers like one who said: “Cosy and warm. We are only using a 10 tog quilt and often get too hot with these on, perfect for a cold winter night.”
Another said it was “Lovely soft bedding. Has washed well. Son is really happy with it.” However, one of the few lower ratings pointed out “with the fleecy fabric it is difficult to do the buttons up”.
