The Loose Women star has found the perfect wedding guest dress that you’ll be able to wear time and time again – and it’s under £100

Wedding season is upon us and if you’ve been invited to any SS24 nuptials, you’ll no doubt be on the hunt for the ultimate guest outfit. Attending a wedding can be an expensive affair when you take everything from travel, accommodation and a gift into account, but Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge has found a ‘stunning’ outfit you’ll get lots of wear from long after the big day.

The former member of girl band The Saturdays shared her recent ‘Faves’ edit to her 1.6 million Instagram followers, with a focus on wedding guest outfits. Alongside glam black tie gowns and shorter cocktail party dresses was a beautiful polka dot maxi dress, which can be worn through the seasons, and fits a range of dress codes.

Frankie said: “It’s the one you’ve all been asking for… wedding guest faves!! This week we’ve rounded up our fave styles, florals, pastels and tailored silhouettes! Whether you’re off to a registry office, a summer garden wedding or jetting off abroad, there’s a style to suit you! We listened to your occasion wear feedback and included more styles suitable for a bra.”

The Signorina dress, from Club L London, was a firm favourite with fans, who commented on her video “The polkadot dress on you is stunning!” “Love the black polka dot one. Where can I find this please?” and “Polka dots dress is stunning.”

The buttoned maxi dress comes in at £95, and is made from ‘a luxurious lightweight fabric’. It boasts a sweetheart neckline and short flounced sleeves for a romantic vibe, while the elasticated back panel allows for the perfect fit to ‘showcase your curves’.

What’s more is that it has a self-tie closure, which shows off a little bit of back but also makes it ideal for fashion fans with broader shoulders as it can be tied to suit your shape. At the front, it’s embellished with a line of delicate covered buttons, with the skirt skimming the floor in heels.

The dress is ideal for formal weddings, and will no doubt be comfortable to wear all day and on the dance floor. However, it may not be suitable for others, with some dress codes requiring guests to wear certain colour palettes, with black being an unlikely choice for a spring or summer event. That said, when paired with colourful accessories, it could work really well – though Frankie styled hers with a white bag from New Look, which costs £15.99.

But it’s not just wedding-ready, either, as this flattering dress is also ideal for your next summer getaway or even date night, perfect for an evening of cocktails or a candlelit dinner. But if you are someone who prefers a little more colour, Frankie also wore this Pink Floral Slip Maxi Dress from River Island, which costs £65 and is selling rather fast.

Another celeb-approved dancefloor-ready dress is this Curves Green Satin Midi Wrap Dress from New Look’s plus size collection as seen on Judi Love last week. The Loose Woman even proved it’s dancefloor-proof when the comic taught Kaye Adams some new moves during the advert break.
