Skincare fans have hailed a high-performance serum as making them ‘look and feel’ decades younger. The formula, which leaves skin ‘feeling tight but smooth’, is currently on offer for £26 less – but only for a limited time.
It comes as premium beauty brand Rodial has launched a winter sale which has seen price cuts of up to 75% on some of their most popular sellers. However, the deal is only running until Friday, January 9, which means shoppers have just over a week to take advantage of the lower prices.
One of the products on offer is their Snake Serum 02, which was £85 but has been reduced to £59. Despite its name, there’s no real snake by-products in the formula, but it has been inspired by viper venom, mimicking a mild tightening effect on the skin.
The popular serum utilises skin-firming ‘SYN-AKE tripeptides, which work to soften the appearance of expression lines like laugh lines and crows feet for a firmer and lifted appearance. It also boasts hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin, as well as a unique oxygen-delivery system known to boost vitality.
Made with a blurring complex that provides a smoother texture (great for makeup application), it’s suitable for all skin types and has a cooling effect on the skin thanks to its hydra-gel texture. The brand recommends using two to three pumps of the serum morning and evening, gently massaging onto the skin, focusing on areas with expression lines.

The Snake Serum combines skin-firming peptides, a unique oxygen-delivery system and hydration hero, hyaluronic acid.
Another skincare product that uses a firming peptides is the Allies Of Skin Copper Tripeptide & Ectoin Advanced Repair Serum 30ml, which is now £152 down from £190 at Debenhams. The ultra-concentrated formula harnesses the power of copper tripeptides, known to stimulate collagen production for a firmer, younger-looking complexion.
For a more affordable option, the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tripeptide Serum 30ml, at Boots, comes in at £31.99 . The ingredients include Collagen Peptide Fractions, which encourages skin to rebuild firmness and smooth wrinkles, while elasti-Peptides promote skin elasticity.
If it’s the price putting shoppers off the Snake Serum from Rodial, the brand also offers a mini version, currently down to £16 . The travel-friendly size is ideal for trialling the product before committing to full size.
That said, others will no doubt be using the discount as an opportunity to stock up, with some having been loyal to the formula for over a decade . One said: “This product reduces the wrinkles visibly. I have been using it for 17 years.”
Another added: “My lines fade away and skin is visibly lifted right away. I look and feel at least 20 years younger.”
Not everyone saw dramatic results, though, with one comment reading: “I haven’t noticed any plumping of my skin or any difference in my fine lines. I think its a really nice moisturiser- non greasy and my skin does feel hydrated. I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag though.”
