Five children under 18 have been arrested by police after a murder investigation was launched following a horror house fire.

Emergency services were called to a property in Bideford, North Devon, on Tuesday at around 8.30pm, after the blaze in a two-storey home. Devon and Cornwall Police said it initially launched an arson investigation but have confirmed it has since been escalated to a murder probe.
