Want to know the secret to Zara McDermott’s glowing complexion? We’ve broken down her full skincare routine – and most products are on sale for Black Friday!
When she’s not posting hilarious videos with her beau Sam Thompson on Instagram, TV presenter, influencer and former Love Island star Zara McDermott loves to give fans a sneak peek into her daily skincare routine. And seeing as her skin is always glowing, we’re all ears.
After many people ‘asked’ about her skincare routine, the blonde beauty took to her Instagram stories to give her followers exactly what they wanted, sharing a breakdown of the products she uses daily – and it seems she’s a huge fan of L’Oréal products.
Luckily, with Black Friday edging nearer, many of the products Zara uses are now on sale – so it’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on her skincare favourites for a fraction of the price. We’ve highlighted everything she uses to get her glow including best-sellers from L’Oreal, Medik8 and SkinCeuticals.
Kicking off her routine, Zara said: “I spray some thermal water on my skin after I come out of the shower.” While she didn’t specifically say which brand she uses, we’re a huge fan of Avène’s Thermal Spring Water Spray for Sensitive Skin – which is on sale for £11.62 down from £15.50 at Boots.
For a slightly cheaper option, we also love this Thermal Spring Water by La Roche Posay, priced at £9.
Thermal water is a multi-use spray to refresh, calm and soften the skin whilst soothing any sign of skin sensitivity. It can also act as both a moisturiser and toner, and should be used in the morning or evening for extra hydration.
Zara then goes on to say on her Instagram story; “I pop some hyaluronic acid serum on both my face and eyes.” She adds: “I love the L’Oreal ones. Disclaimer; I do work with L’Oreal but I don’t work with brands that I don’t use in my everyday life & authentically use, so either way I would still use this product because I love it so much!”
L’Oreal Paris’ Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum has become a favourite amongst beauty fans, amassing over 300 five-star reviews with many saying they can see ‘a real difference’ to their skin since using the product. Best of all? Zara’s fave is on sale now for £16.99 down from £24.99 in the Boots Black Friday sale.
Next up, she explains: “Vitamin C is such a staple for me,” before sharing the four she’s loving at the moment. She adds: “The Skinceuticals one is amazing but very pricey. The L’Oreal one is a great option and much more affordable. The Dr Dennis Gross one is a nice middle option but it’s quite sticky, so I do prefer the texture of the L’Oreal one. I also love the Medik8 C Tetra Luxe but I’ve run out.”
We’ve spotted the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Clinical 12% Pure Vitamin C Serum at Boots on sale for £14.99 down from £29.99.
Of course, no skincare routine is complete without the perfect moisturiser, and Zara claims she’s “LOVING the Japan Fusion moisturiser from Beauty Pie.” Again, the influencer mentions she works with Beauty Pie, but bought this product herself.
For eyes, she’s gone for a pricier option with The La Mer eye cream, however justifies the price by saying “it’s expensive but oddly I’ve found it’s the only eye cream that hasn’t aggravated my dermatitis. I also have very sensitive eyes and it works well!”
Zara openly talks about struggling with dermatitis, so her skincare routine is great for those suffering with sensitve skin.
