Shoppers can create a cosy oasis for less as Amazon cut the price of tons of Yankee Candles in best-selling seasonal scents
As a self-proclaimed candle connoisseur I’ve tried and tested many candle brands in an effort to transform my home into a cosy sanctuary. One stand-out scent at this time of year is Yankee Candle’s Red Apple Wreath and with over 19,000 five star reviews on Amazon, I’m not the only person who thinks so.
While it’s usually priced at £27.99 for a large jar, Amazon have now discounted it to £19.99 as part of their Black Friday week, and if you sign up to Yankee Candles free early access Black Friday sale, you can nab their signature Red Apple Wreath Jar for 30% off.
I love placing the festive fragrance in my kitchen as it fills the space with a delicious aroma of sweet apples, cinnamon, walnuts and maple, but the “warm and comforting” scent would suit any room in your home.
The classic Yankee Candle lid stops it from accumulating dust, and one shopper said: “the scent is warming and sweet while remaining actually strong. At the same time, the aroma is also well-balanced and even addictive. It gives my living room a certain cosiness which my partner appreciates in the evening.”
Another customer said of the red apple scent: “it smells like Christmas and makes me feel warm and snug.”
There are some comments that explain two wicks would be preferable over the single wick, but I’ve had no problems with tunneling and found the wax burns evenly.
Yankee Candle’s Red Apple Wreath is included in their Christmas Gift Set which is now better than half price at Boots, having been reduced to £27 down from £60. As well as this, the collection contains a medium jar candle in Christmas Cookie, and six votive candles in the scents Shimmering Christmas Tree, Sparkling Winterberry, Holiday Cheer, Magical Bright Lights, Christmas Eve and Cinnamon Stick.
Amazon have also slashed the price of two of their most popular seasonal scents – the Yankee Candle Christmas Eve was £28.90 and is now £21, and the Yankee Candle Christmas Magic was £29.99 and has been reduced to £19.49, as well as slashing the following festive fragrances down to £19.99 each:
Elsewhere on Amazon, you’ll find Neom’s Cosy Nights Luxury Scented Candle 25% off, which is cheaper than John Lewis and LookFantastic.
The White Company have also introduced a new scent into their winter offering – Nordic Woods. The £22 candle is woody and fresh, with notes of eucalyptus, birchwood and amber that shoppers are calling, “a lovely scent provoking thoughts of Christmas cosiness” that reminds them of “woodland walks.”
