Adidas Originals has been a huge brand since its inception in 1997 and has gained a loyal following of those who prefer their adidas clothing to be of the heritage kind.
If you’re on the hunt for some vintage clothing then the latest Black Friday sale on adidas gives you just that as part of ‘Cyber Week’. The German fashion giant has unveiled some pretty eye-catching discounts on a number of items on the Originals clothing line for their 50% off Black Friday sale.
Adidas Originals has long been a brand that’s managed to straddle the line between football casual wear, streetwear and high end fashion with collaborations with the likes of Gucci and Stella McCartney and as part of the adidas sale there are some big savings to be made on their Originals range so let’s start at the top with some of the Adicolour range. This 70s Vintage Sweatshirt, now £42 reduced from £70 which is also available in green, is a beautiful piece that evokes nostalgia for a time when bright colours were generously used and styles combined sport and comfort.

Originals Designers, Lena Sophie Anders & Christina Witte explained just what’s so appealing about the range saying, “The collection is a lesson in contrasts — bright tones collide with pastel hues while a playful mix of luxurious materials gives the 70s-inspired silhouettes an energetic new form.”
One of the sales’ most attractive bargains is this 70s inspired Adicolor tracksuit that you can buy separately or together. The Adicolour 70s Monogram Tracksuit Bottoms are now £48 down from £80 and the stunning matching top is now £51 down from £85 meaning each piece can be worn as part of another outfit or you can go full Elton John and wear it as one. Sticking with the tops that blur the line between tracksuit and casual wear this Classics Plush Track Top is now £35 while this Three-Stripe Half Zip in Black is now £39 down from £65 and this Classic Cut Line Sweatshirt is now on offer for £35.75 and this 70s Long Sleeved Vintage Polo Shirt in red is now just £36 down from £60.
One of my favourite items in the whole sale is this Corduroy Track Top which is now £60 down from the original price of £100. Coming in a hybrid pattern of deep red and autumnal brown, it really does give vintage and once again isn’t afraid to delve deep into some fascinating colour combinations.
