Here’s everything you need to know if you’re looking to get a discount on an Apple product this shopping season, whether it’s the latest iPhone, MacBook, pair of AirPods, Apple Watch or HomePod. These retailers will give you the best price
The latest Apple iPhone 15, iPad Air or Apple Watch may just be some of the most sought-after devices on shoppers’ lists during the upcoming 2023 Black Friday sales. Although it may not be as easy for eager Apple shoppers compared to rival Samsung, Google, and Nokia fans.
That’s because Apple doesn’t pay too much attention to dropping the prices of its products around Black Friday, and instead focuses on handing out vouchers to eager deal-hunting shoppers. The catch? You have to spend money on a brand-new product first before getting any money off on a separate purchase.
Last year Apple handed out vouchers for as much as £250 for those who picked up a brand new Apple MacBook, but it’s only available to claim once you’ve spent the full amount of the laptop first – so its Black Friday discount vouchers are aimed at getting you money off an accessory or putting towards your next big Apple purchase.
This Black Friday the supermarket retailer has launched a surprise deal for loyalty card shoppers, offering as much as £400 off Apple’s iPhone 14. This sees shoppers save £11.50 a month across the full 36-month plan.
A quick look at retailer price drops:
Last year the biggest £250 voucher amount was reserved for bigger £1,000+ purchases as handsets including the 2021 iPhone 13 only got shoppers £50 off their next purchase. Those who headed to the checkout with an Apple Watch SE also got a £50 voucher, while AirPod Pro (2nd Generation) shoppers got £75 off in an Apple Store gift card.
When will Apple reveal its 2023 Black Friday Vouchers?
Apple’s own take on Black Friday will certainly appeal to shoppers who are looking to buy more than one product as it could get shoppers multiple vouchers to use on future purchases.
Taking a look back at last year’s global November sale hints at the dates eager 2023 Apple shoppers need to get ready for. And it’s from Friday, November 24, the official Black Friday start date.
That’s because in 2022 the brand’s deals didn’t drop until November 25 (the official Black Friday date then) and ran up until Cyber Monday, which falls on November 27 this year.
How to get money off Apple products this Black Friday 2023
If you’re looking for money off the latest iPhone 15 or a price drop on older handsets like the popular iPhone 14 then it means you’ll have to head over to retailers including Amazon, Currys and Very to find a deal. Mobile networks including Sky, O2, EE, Tesco Mobile and GiffGaff are hotspots for contract shoppers too.
One of the biggest deals on our radar so far is the 100GB of data and handset discount currently available to tap into over at Tesco Mobile. It’s a perk to buying both the data and handset in one as shoppers will save £414 on Tesco’s iPhone 14 price if they shop using their Clubcard.
A deal for outright shoppers is over at Very, where the online retailer has cut the outright price down to £649, a £115 saving. There’s just over a week to go until the global shopping spree and other retailers including Amazon are one to keep on your radar if you’re looking to bag an Apple bargain. Apple shoppers may also want to take a look at Sky Mobile as it’s offering 50% off data plans that are paired with a phone, note it’s only available to 40GB or 100GB a month shoppers – although this does mean a potential £432 price cut on a new iPhone15 plan.
