Aldi has announced a strict Kevin the Carrot toy return policy this Christmas, with the plushies available in stores from Thursday
Aldi has revealed a strict “two per customer” rule for Christmas, as the much-loved Kevin the Carrot toys make a comeback.
The supermarket shared a short animated video on social media, showing the characters from their Christmas advert busy making the new plush toys. The caption of the video read: “The plushie production is in full swing! Kevin and his Christmas Factory friends are available in store 16.11.23. #AldiAmazingChristmas”.
Fans can get their hands on Kevin the Carrot, William Conker and other pals including the Plumty Dumptys from Thursday. But remember, these Specialbuy items won’t be around forever – once they’re gone, they’re gone. Each plush toy costs just £3.99.
You can even snag a special Golden Kevin for the same price. The stars of the Christmas advert have also been turned into Squishees, which are on sale for £6.99 each.
For the ultimate fans, Aldi is offering a Jumbo Kevin Plush for £19.99. Crafty folks can get their hands on Aldi’s Character Kits for £2.99, allowing them to knit their own Aldi mascot, including the famous Cuthbert.
However, Aldi has warned that these cuddly toys will be limited to two per customer to ensure as many people as possible can bring a Kevin home for Christmas. These toys are only available in-store and not online.
Reacting to the announcement on Facebook, one excited fan wrote: “Il be at my store bright and early !!! X”, while another chimed in: “So excited to get them on Thursday can’t wait”.
One shopper praised the store’s festive ad, saying: “Best Christmas advert this year”, with another adding: “Love the new Christmas advert, well done aldi. Best by far..”
