Ernest Jones has slashed £4,500 from two diamond rings, one in platinum and one in gold

Jewellery fans looking to invest in a special piece may want to take note of a limited-time offer at Ernest Jones, where shoppers can secure major savings on diamond rings. The high-street jeweller is currently running a promotion that slashes thousands off selected diamond rings while also including an extra piece for free.

The deal means customers spending £2,500 or more on selected natural diamonds can receive a complimentary lab-grown diamond ring worth up to £2,000. Among the standout pieces is the Engagement Ring Platinum Round Cut Four Claw Solitaire 1ct Diamond Ring for £4,000 down from £8,500, saving shoppers £4,500.

This is making the offer particularly appealing for those planning a proposal or searching for a timeless jewellery upgrade. This is a classic round-cut solitaire diamond engagement ring, available in both gold and platinum finishes.

Designed with a classic four-claw setting to showcase the centre stone, the elegant design focuses on a single sparkling diamond for a timeless and sophisticated look. The simple solitaire style highlights the brilliance of the stone while the sleek band keeps the ring feeling refined and versatile.

For the gold option – the Engagement Ring 18ct Yellow Gold Round Cut Four Claw Solitaire 1ct Diamond Ring – this has been reduced from £8,500 to £4,000, too. It also features a round solitaire diamond nestled within a classic four-claw setting.

Another option is the Engagement Ring The Forever Diamond 18ct Yellow Gold 1ct Diamond Ring for £5,999 from H Samuel. It is said to feature a ‘breathtaking 0.75ct centre Forever Diamond’ in warm 18ct yellow gold.

A second option is the Masami Lab Diamond Engagement Ring for £209, down from £295, from The Diamond Store. This is a ‘special Ella Round Engagement ring in silver’ and it has 0.20CT of premium quality diamonds, the site says.

Although there are no direct reviews on the Ernest Jones website, shoppers did take to Trustpilot to share their thoughts on the brand. One person said: “I visited Ernest Jones on Friday 27th February 2026. I was immediately helped by Lorraine who was very welcoming, bright and cheery. She helped me source the ring I was interested in, promptly sized it for me and organised for it to be altered. She asked if it was for a special occasion, I told her it was for my birthday that day and she congratulated very warmly. My experience was very good.”

Another commented: “What I was looking for was easy to find due to simple and effective navigating tools. Nice, clear pictures of items and the ability to see the ring on my finger was nice. The whole process was simple and just works.”

A handful of others disagreed slightly and said: “Initially I struggled to order a ring, I did have to do it from my laptop as it was not working fully on my phone. Overall, though, I was able to buy a ring that I wanted and liked, my second option though unfortunately.” Another added: “While the experience was great with regard to the value of my purchase, the finance calculator is so confusing and I had to ring for a better understanding.”

Overall, most people were pleased. Another shopper said: “Shopping online for a new engagement ring and the selection is nothing short of incredible. Having the ‘try it on’ feature makes it all so much easier when you are not in a physical store. I have no complaints and cannot think of any faults whilst shopping on the website either.”
