The beauty products are half of the usual cost in the StarBuy section

Home Bargains is selling a selection of beauty ‘sorbets’ for a fraction of the usual price. These Garnier products are new to the StarBuy section and offer people an affordable way to improve their skin with a range of “clinically proven” ingredients that help enhance appearance.

The discount store is selling three versions of the Garnier Hydrating Sorbet Cream, each usually priced at £10 per tub. Shopping at the StarBuy section of the discount store will make these products half the usual price, priced at £4.99 each.

All three offer different ingredients that target different issues. Every version is made with a “fresh sorbet texture” that can be easily applied to the skin for hydrating benefits.

First, the Salicylic Fresh and Matte Hydrating Sorbet Cream (85ml) offers a “lightweight, non-greasy moisturiser that hydrates for 24 hours”. It also claims to help reduce blemishes, with bosses suggesting this product is “perfect for dull and uneven skin”.

This blend introduces salicylic acid and centella asiatica to the skin. Salicylic acid, known for its exfoliating properties that help deeply cleanse pores and reduce excess oil, while centella asiatica has been linked to calming and soothing the skin.

The Hyaluron Fresh and Plump Hydrating Sorbet Cream “melts into your skin” and claims to be “clinically proven” at delivering up to 48-hours of hydration”. This formula is powered by 4% niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.

Niacinamide, known to minimise enlarged pores, helps to fade residual acne marks and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. Hyaluronic acid is a powerful hydrator from bio-technologies that helps lock-in moisture and has a very hydrating effect on various skin types, including sensitive skin.

And, the third option is the Vitamin C Fresh and Bright Hydrating Sorbet Cream. Garnier claims that this product helps to “reduce dark spots and mattify with a fresh, non-greasy feel”.

The enhanced Vitamin C included in this ‘sorbet’ is said to help skin appear brighter as well as “boost radiance, and enhance skin’s natural glow”. Vitamin C is also linked to stimulating collagen, which helps improve elasticity and skin firmness and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

All together, this bundle would cost £14.98 at Home Bargains. The same products are available elsewhere from the likes of Boots, Superdrug and Amazon with similar discounts.

In other Home Bargains beauty news, shoppers can still claim an online-exclusive offer for a major skincare bundle worth £200 for just £40. The REN Clean Skincare Gift Set is available on the website for shoppers to purchase, with eight items included for £160 off.
