The discount store has been adding more to its outdoor range – including some returning favourites

Some Home Bargains shoppers will be pleased to spot the return of a “dazzling” garden light feature in stores. The colourful lights, which cost less than £10, are said to make UK gardens feel “like a disco”.

The comeback of this popular outdoor fixture will have fans of the discount store keen to start setting up their outdoor spaces for spring and summer. The Firefly 10 Meteor Shower Solar Lights are back in stock online and in stores across the country.

Describing the lights online, a spokesperson said: “The Firefly 10 Meteor Shower Solar Lights create a dazzling display in your outdoor space. With 10 LED filament bulbs, these lights mimic the stunning effect of a meteor shower, adding a touch of magic to your garden, yard, or patio.

“The lights are easy to install and include a rechargeable battery that charges during the day. They automatically turn on at dusk, offering an enchanting glow with a flashing effect that brings your outdoor area to life. No wiring needed—just let the sun do the work and enjoy the show every evening!”

Previously, a shopper posted about these lights when they were last in stores in 2025. The TikTok user (@Lets_pop_to_the_shops) bought a set of 10 lights and installed them in her garden that same evening.

The video, posted in April 2025, showed what the ‘meteor’ effect looked like, with colourful lights gently running down the bulb. Pleased with her purchase, she said: “It’s like a disco in your garden, I really love it!”

The price is exactly the same as this time last year, with shoppers paying £7.99 for the set. For more garden decor, furniture or lighting, click here.

It was reported that shutters will be pulled on 560 of the chain’s shops on Easter Sunday. However, 70 stores in Scotland will stay open as usual on that Sunday, April 5.

The chain employs around 28,000 staff all around the UK, and the closure is intended to give workers a rare day off during the Easter period. The shops will still be open on Good Friday and Easter Monday, however, the reduced hours will be from 9am to 7pm on both days.
