Emma Louise Connolly is known for her always-flawless skin, and she’s shared one of her go-to skincare products that acts like ‘microneedling in a bottle’ – and it’s only £25

If you’ve ever wondered what goes into a model’s skincare routine, you need look no further than Emma Louise Connolly’s Instagram account. The model regularly shares her skincare secrets with her followers, and although there are some high end treatments and luxury products in her regime, plenty of her go-tos are much more budget friendly.

Recently she shared that she’s been using Medicube’s One Day Exosome Shot Pore Ampoule 7500 serum once a week to brighten and smooth her skin. At just £25 for a 30ml bottle it won’t break the bank, and with it only requiring weekly use, it means it should last you quite a while.

Vicky Pattison-approved hair serum is so good at reducing hair loss that even hairdressers noticed

Emma raved about the Medicube’s One Day Exosome Shot, saying: “This is like microneedling in a bottle” for helping smooth and improve skin texture. In fact, the product description says that it’s a “micro-needling-inspired treatment designed to tighten pores and refine skin texture.”

It’s infused with lacto exosomes, peptides and micro-sized particles which help promote a more even, firm complexion, and it also contains AHAs, BHAs and PHAs which remove dead skin cells and impurities. The ingredients also list niacinamide, which brightens, and panthenol which protects your skin’s barrier and retains moisture.

As well as helping smooth uneven skin tone, enhancing radiance and minimising the appearance of pores, the One Day Exosome Shot serum also addresses blemishes and sensitivity. It is worth noting, however, that it comes in different “strengths”, so those not used to using actives on their skin may want to start off with the 2000 strength, rather than the 7500 strength version.

In fact, Emma said: “This is the 7500 but it is quite spicy”, so those with sensitive skin may want to tread carefully whilst using the serum. For a more gentle option you could try the La Roche-Posay Vitamin C12 Serum Anti-Wrinkle and Radiance Restoring Serum which contains vitamin C12, salicylic acid and neurosensine to help bright, tighten and soothe your skin.

Alternatively, Medik8’s Liquid Peptides 30% Complex Multi-Peptide Age-Defying Serum is gentle enough to be used daily and contains 10 powerful peptides in a 30% blend, to help slow and prevent fine line formation. It helps with hydration, anti-ageing, firmness and plumpness to make skin look more youthful and radiant.
