Emily Atack proves ballet flats are yet again the must-have shoe for spring, and her leopard print pair hail from one of Princess Kate’s go-to brands
Emily Atack is already stepping into spring style thanks to the gorgeous, sunny weather we’ve had this week, and her latest footwear choice ticks all the right trend boxes. The actress posted an Instagram story wearing a pair of leopard print ballet flats from a Princess Kate-approved brand. The exact pair appear to be the Matilda Low Ballerinas from Sézane (£160), a label previously worn by Kate Middleton. Known for its effortlessly stylish Parisian aesthetic, Sézane has become synonymous with that coveted “French-girl” style, combining timeless silhouette with trendy details.
These leopard print flats are the perfect example. They add a bold twist to the classic ballet flat, making them such an easy way to elevate simple outfits like jeans and T-shirt or a floaty spring dress. The low-cut shape and luxe pony hair finish keep the flats feeling a little smarter than your average pair.

Ballet flats are firmly back in trend for another season, and Emily’s pair proves that they can be both comfortable and a statement piece. With their mix of classic design, fun animal print and royal-approved brand credentials, they’re the ultimate versatile addition to your shoe collection this spring.
Emily styled them for the warmer weather with a pair of Miu Miu black bermuda shorts (a style we predict will be everywhere this spring thanks to that chic airport look from Margot Robbie earlier this year) and an oversized blazer.
After more Kate-approved shoes? Proving that the penny loafer is going to be one of spring’s biggest shoe trends, the Princess championed British high street brand Boden last month with her Nya Penny Loafers.
Priced at £119, these loafers are far more wallet-friendly than some of Kate Middleton’s previous footwear, and Kate has shown us you don’t need a pair of designer heels to look polished.
We also love this pair of leopard print Mary Jane flats from ASOS Design as a more affordable alternative to Emily’s Sézane pair. Priced at £45, these look far more expensive than the under £50 price tag and are ideal for elevating a simple spring look.
