BP is offering a big saving on EV charging this weekend trough its free app to celebrate the fifth annual emobility campaign
If you’re planning a little getaway this weekend, bp has launched a new offer to help save money on your mileage. This Monday (September 9) marks the fifth annual World EV Day, the ‘biggest’ emobility campaign of the year.
To mark the occasion, bp is offering electric vehicle (EV) owners a discount on charging for three days. EV owners can now save 15 percent on EV charging with bp across the entire weekend at participating rapid and ultra-fast chargers.
Bp has long been recognised as a go-to for drivers filling up with petrol and diesel, but the company has already begun making the switch to electric by adding more than 3,000 rapid and ultra-fast charging points. This special promotion offers drivers a big discount for three days, from September 7-9, giving UK customers 15 percent off pay as you go EV charging via the free bp pulse app.

The discount is available to anyone who has downloaded the app, registered and added a minimum of £5 credit to start a charge using pay as you go on rapid and ultrafast chargers The offer can be claimed when making a payment via the bp pulse app, which you can download here on the App Store or Google Play, and is valid until 11.59pm on September 9 on rapid and ultra-fast chargers.
The bp pulse app allows drivers to find the nearest EV charging points across the UK and get directions from their current location with a live map. EV owners can also create a custom map of their favourite chargers and filter by connector type and charging speed, while managing charging with up to 90 days’ history and downloadable invoices.
The offer allows EV owners to pay 15 percent less than standard pay as you go rates when using the bp pulse owned network, with payment required on the bp pulse app. The deal is not available on non-participating chargers.
