An eagle-eyed bargain hunter has urged people to check out Primark’s sale section after discovering the beauty aisle covered in red discount stickers, with many luxury-inspired products
If you’re keen to snag some New Year bargains, Primark should be at the top of your list, as the retailer is currently running impressive discounts across its stores. While Primark is renowned for its year-round value, one TikToker has highlighted that their beauty department is currently awash with particularly noteworthy sale prices.
Rachael, who shares content on TikTok as @selfcarewithrachael, alerted her followers that the “Primark sale is on,” although she noted that discounts may vary between different branches nationwide, so it’s worth checking your local store to see what’s available. Rachael said she thought “the sales were really good this year” generally, and her visit to Primark proved no exception, with numerous beauty products heavily reduced.
Sharp-eyed customers will also spot that plenty of clothing and homeware items are included in the sale as well.
“Primark did not disappoint. Their beauty section is just absolutely covered in red stickers,” she enthused, pointing out that there were several Tatcha cream alternatives on offer. A 75ml pot of the Tatcha Water Cream normally retails at a steep £97, whereas the Primark alternative during the sale will cost you merely £3.
Naturally, opting for dupes instead of premium brands isn’t a choice to be made hastily, as the ingredient lists for each product will differ. Nevertheless, if you conduct proper research and determine that a dupe might suit your needs, you could make substantial savings.
Some dupe products share ingredients in their formulas, so it’s definitely worth comparing the ingredient lists when you’re shopping to see if your favourite Primark dupe products have anything similar to their pricier counterparts.
There were numerous discounted items, including anti-chafe sticks, ideal for the warmer weather in a few months’ time, a Stranger Things themed bodywash, sure to be a hit with fans of the series, and even a maple waffle scented body mist, perfect for those who want to smell delightful without splashing out.
There was an array of lip masks, body washes, body mists, fruity-scented perfumes, Charlotte Tilbury dupe creams and foundations, a microcurrent facial device, a Tom Ford dupe perfume, a shimmering setting spray for those not ready to say goodbye to party season, and even an intense lip mask.
Most of these products would cost you less than £3, meaning you could replenish some of your favourite items without denting your wallet. So if you’re aiming to save money in 2026, but still can’t resist beauty products, Primark has got you sorted at the moment.
And for anyone worried about their local Primark being chaotic, Rachael reassured that her local store was neat and tidy, and you “didn’t have to rummage through” everything to find the gems you want to purchase.
This is likely because the staff have been working relentlessly to ensure that every item was accurately discounted, and they had a chance to organise everything at the time. If shoppers find items neatly arranged, they often leave them in the same condition.
In the comments section, one person revealed that they’d managed to snap up two perfumes for just over £5, which is quite a steal. One was a peach and blood orange scent, and the other was bergamot and neroli, making them ideal for spring and summer fragrances.
A lady bragged about scoring the Tom Ford dupe perfume 10ml for a mere £2, named ‘Whipped Cream’. Some have compared it to the fragrance ‘Vanilla Sex,’ which costs a whopping £290 for just 50ml.
While the latter may last longer, you’ll save a significant amount of money if you’re a fan of the dupe.
