‘Really pleased, have bought three of these from Dunelm, great for saving space if you have nowhere to put lamps’

A plug-in light that’s “great for saving space” is winning fans on Dunelm – largely because it doesn’t need an electrician to install. Unlike many traditional wall lights that require changes to wiring, the Fulton Plug In Wall Light comes with a 1.8m cable and plug, making it easy to simply plug into a power outlet.

Complete with a rustic pine finish, the light is designed to match a wide array of styles. It’s usually priced at £32, but a sale event at Dunelm has seen it fall to £22.40.

And in even better news, there’s a way that buyers can effectively pick one up for £7.02. It comes via the money-saving website, TopCashback, where new members benefit from a £15 cashback bonus when they spend more than £15.

It means that for new members of TopCashback and new customers of Dunelm it works out at £7.02 after cashback. Meanwhile, for new members of TopCashback and existing customers of Dunelm it’s slightly less of a saving – £7.21 after cashback.

Of the reviews left to date, one said: “Easy to install. Look great and add the perfect vibe in the evening.” Another continued: “Stunning lamps, look great up and are much more expensive than they were.”

A third went on: “Really pleased, have bought three of these from Dunelm, great for saving space if you have nowhere to put lamps.” Despite the majority of feedback being positive, there have been a small number of buyers who mentioned issues.

One customer who gave three stars said: “The plastic cover is peeling slightly which is annoying but I just put that one closest to the wall. Nice overall.”

Another gave four stars, pointing out: “A lovely looking lamp. And so useful as it just plugs in. No electrician required. However, the lamp is very bright, and if placed at eye height it could possibly use a shade.”

There are other plug-in lights available at various retailers too. Amazon stocks a White Plug-in Wall Light for Bedroom that’s a budget-friendly £14.99. The cable is 1.5m long, so a bit shorter than the Dunelm option though the Amazon product does rotate.

Argos also has plugin options like the Rayner Brass product. That has a pleasing finish and costs £18. The shoppers who’ve bought it to date have been very pleased, with the reviews mostly awarding four or five stars.
