The £12 Dunelm product is sold in six different colours and ‘does the job perfectly’
Dunelm shoppers are singing the praises of a £12 draught excluder that ‘does the job perfectly’. With winter on the way, many households are seeking ways to retain heat in their homes and exclude draughts, which could help lower their energy bills. For Dunelm customers, one option could be the Catherine Lansfield Kingsley Matt Velvet Double Sided Draught Excluder.
Priced at £12, the item is available in six different colours, and one customer was so impressed they purchased four products, claiming that the excluders kept their home ‘so much warmer’. For shoppers seeking an alternative, there are numerous options available.
For instance, The White Company sells a £75 Sheepskin Draught Excluder, Argos offers a £10 Habitat Basket Weave Draught Excluder, and Debenhams has reduced a Catherine Lansfield ‘Cosy Diamond’ Draught Excluder to £9.
Nonetheless, Dunelm’s Velvet Double Sided Draught Excluder is popular with many shoppers. The product description states: “Keep your home cosy and stylish with the Catherine Lansfield Kingsley Matt Velvet Double Sided Draught Excluder.
“Designed in Great Britain and known for quality, it slides nearly under your door to block out chilly draughts with ease. Crafted from soft touch matt velvet, it doesn’t just work hard, it looks good doing it too. Perfect for enhancing comfort, trapping warm in and keeping the cold (and noise) firmly out.”
To date, the £12 item has an average rating of four out of five stars, accompanied by several positive comments. One reviewer wrote: “It looks very smart, is made of soft fabric with a double design so covers both sides of the door and it stays in place when the door is opened. Perfect for use on an internal door. Lovely product and excellent value.”
Another fan said: “They really work. I bought four of these and they have helped to keep my home so much warmer. They are simple to fit and really do make a snug seal around the doors. The choice of colours is very useful too.”
Less pleased, someone claimed: “Product is advertised as 90cm. My doors are roughly 80cm and this still comes short.” A similar comment read: “The product is lovely and I did read previous reviews which informed that the product is shorter than the information provided on the website.
“However, I took a chance – the website advises that the product is 90cm long – in reality the product is 76 cm long – in English – almost 6inches shorter than it should be.”
Meanwhile, a customer with mixed feedback said: “The material is good quality, lovely colour green. It does the job perfectly. It fits easily but moves when the door opens and closes. I will find a way to fix that. Be warned the length quoted on the Dunelm website is incorrect.”
