Doorbell footage from a resident in Bearwood, Birmingham, showed a woman dressed only in underwear walk down her driveway and allegedly grab two bottles of milk

Woman in black underwear caught on doorbell camera snatching milk

Footage shows the bare-faced cheek of a woman who appeared to snatch two bottles of milk from a doorstep wearing just underwear.

A resident from the Bearwood area of Birmingham was surprised to find her milk delivery missing but was even more taken aback when she found out what had happened.

She checked her doorbell footage and allegedly discovered that a woman dressed only in skimpy black underwear and flip flops had made off with the bottles at around 5am in the morning.

The alleged offender could be seen strolling up the driveway, picking up the bottles and walking off calmly before she seemed to show more haste when she got to the main road.

The resident took to Facebook to show what had happened and others also reported their milk had gone amiss recently, reported BirminghamLive.

The householder said: “We were very frustrated to see it on our doorbell as have two young children, but you hope it’s someone in such desperate need they resort to stealing.

“Why in her underwear we do not know! Makes us think twice about getting milk delivered as it has happened several times in our area recently.”

West Midlands Police confirmed that it received a report of stolen milk at 5.10am on Friday, July 17, and has appealed to the public for information

Its statement said: “Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 or use the Live Chat option on our website quoting crime number 20/328342/26.”

Meanwhile, a resident in the Cotteridge area of Birmingham has also complained about milk bottles being stolen from their driveway and he said he had stopped the milk delivery.

The man wrote on Facebook: “Same again this morning. Milk deliveries have been stopped. It’s now being investigated and they have asked for the footage. I’d advise everyone contact their milk companies.”

While a person replied: “Might sound and look trivial to some but this is someone’s livelihood our tracksuited tea-leaf is impacting.

“No doubt the milk delivery company put a lot of time and effort into developing the round. Only for someone to tear it all up.” And a further reply read: “Have you got the video of him walking up to the doorstep? someone may recognise them.”
