Disney On Ice returns in 2026 with Into The Magic, featuring Frozen’s Elsa and Anna, Moana and Rapunzel across five UK cities this half-term
Disney On Ice has long been a half-term highlight for families across the country – and this year is no exception. The entertainment powerhouse returns with its latest production, Into The Magic, launching in just a matter of days.
With the Winter Olympic Games capturing global attention, there could hardly be a more fitting time to experience Disney’s spellbinding spectacle on ice. Throughout the upcoming arena tour, audiences can expect to see ‘princesses glide, oceans shimmer and castles rise from frozen floors’ in a breathtaking display of skating and storytelling.
Beloved characters will take centre stage, including sisters Anna and Elsa from Frozen, joined by everyone’s favourite snowman, Olaf. Fans can also look forward to Moana as she sails across the ice, while Rapunzel and Flynn Rider bring their adventure and romance to arenas nationwide throughout February and March.
The tour opens on 26 February at the M&S Bank Arena before travelling on to Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and London, reports the Express. Full venue details and dates are outlined below.
At each location, Disney On Ice audiences will experience ‘Olympic-style ice precision’ alongside ‘lightning-fast costume changes’, all woven together with Disney’s characteristic storytelling approach. Considerable work has been invested in bringing Disney On Ice to the skating venues themselves, according to lighting assistant electrician Brandon Dupree.

Disney fans will see ‘princesses glide, oceans shimmer and castles rise from frozen floors.’
“A bright, white ice surface is always a challenge,” they said. “We have to balance visibility, colour and mood without washing out the visuals.”
Meanwhile, head of wardrobe Jenine Vanderhoof reveals that one costume change in Disney On Ice happens in just 31 seconds: “Many costumes are more technical than they appear, featuring hidden stretch panels, reinforced seams and custom closures designed specifically for skating.
“One example is Moana’s adventure costume in the show – it appears layered and textural to reflect the film’s island aesthetic, but beneath that organic look are stretch gussets and performance-grade fabrics that allow her to execute powerful skating choreography.”
Tickets for Into The Magic remain on sale through the official website here, and are also obtainable via Ticketmaster.
For similar half-term activities, there are always theatre shows based on Disney’s best-loved films. Hercules is the latest screen-to-stage production from Disney, and tickets are now on sale. Otherwise, The Lion King has been a mainstay on stages around the world for decades.
