Staffordshire Police has said it is ‘concerned’ after two young girls from Stoke-on-Trent went missing

An appeal has been launched for the whereabouts of two young girls not seen since Friday afternoon.

Stoke-on-Trent girls Jade, nine, and Shania, 12, were last seen riding a e-scooter together at around 4pm. Staffordshire Police has said it is “concerned” and appealed for the public to help.

Jade, last seen wearing a school uniform, is around three feet tall and has light brown hair that is shoulder length. She is further described as having a slim build.

Shania is around four feet and five inches tall, with a slim build and black hair that is shoulder length. She was also last seen wearing a school uniform and “oversized peach hoodie”.

“We’re concerned about the whereabouts of two girls from Stoke-on-Trent, and we need your help in trying to find them,” a force spokesperson said. “Jade, nine, and Shania, 12, are believed to be missing together. Both girls were last seen riding an e-scooter in the Chell area at around 4pm yesterday (Friday 6 February).”

“Jade is described as being around 3ft tall, of a slim build with shoulder length light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a school uniform. Shania is described as around 4ft 5ins tall, of a slim build with shoulder length black hair. She was last seen wearing a school uniform with an oversized peach hoodie.”

Witnesses are urged to call 101, quoting incident 825 of 6 February, or use Live Chat on the Staffordshire Police website.
