The set has been winning fans among those who’ve bought it to date
Top-quality bedding is important to getting a good night’s sleep, and it’s always worth investing in a high-quality duvet that not only feels great but also looks stylish and sleek. Debenhams is known for offering such quality bedding to shoppers.
The CHRISTY 200TC 100 per cent Organic Cotton Duvet Cover Set is priced between £55-£85, depending on the size required. The set, which comes in a range of colours including beige, pink, and green, also comes in different sizes – single, double, king and super king – meaning there is a choice for everyone.
Described by Debenhams as feeling super soft and smooth, the duvet is made from 100 per cent organic cotton and adds a touch of style and sophistication to rooms in a subtle way. It is also made without any harmful chemicals and is said to have a fabric that gets softer with every wash.
If this particular duvet isn’t suitable for everyone, there are other options available. For example, the Cambridge 200 Thread Count Duvet Cover – Cotton – White costs £30 from DUSK for a kingsize, reports the Express. It’s also available in single, double, and superking sizes, and is described as ideal for bringing contemporary flair to any bedroom.
Another choice is the Habitat Brushed Cotton Plain Charcoal Bedding Set – Single for £20 from Argos, which comes in double and king sizes too. This set also contains pillows and features buttons at the base for securing.
On the Christy website, the Organic Duvet has earned an impressive 4.7 out of five stars. One customer commented: “Great quality and price. Very pleased with the purchase.”
Another added: “Fabulous sets. I’ve purchased four sets so far and I’ll be getting more. Service is awesome too.”
A third buyer noted: “Great duvet set, lovely colour and fantastic quality. I would definitely recommend this.”
However, not everyone was satisfied, with one person stating: “Not as soft as I expected and the size of duvet cover is bigger than my duvet. Always buy king size set and never it was bigger than my duvet.”
Another customer expressed: “I was a little disappointed with this purchase. The material is lovely and the pillowcases feel great, but there is a twist in them that I associate with cheap pillowcases which means they don’t iron flat (and I use a press because of arthritis so it’s not easy to lose the twist).
“Some of the stitching was a little ragged too at corners and the end of the stitch run where the reverse stitch was used. The pillowcases weren’t sold as seconds, although they were half price so I feel I can’t complain too much. Not the standard I expected from Christy products.
“The duvet covers washed well and didn’t crease much on a line dry. I don’t iron sheets, so didn’t get as up close as I did with the pillowcases.”
