It’s normally £99.99, but the online sale has reduced it by 30% to £69.99. For that price, you’re not just getting a posh 58cm wide mirror – it also doubles up as a Bluetooth speaker.
Fitted with wireless technology, the mirror boasts having “perfect sound quality” and is able to play music from any compatible Bluetooth device. There’s also a microphone inside the vanity, so you can multitask effortlessly and take phone calls while doing your makeup.
Shoppers who bought the mirror shared glowing reviews on the Debenhams website. One said: “I love the different modes and brightness. The Bluetooth is a great feature as well. The speakers are pretty good. Overall, a great sturdy mirror!”
Another added: “Brilliant mirror with fantastic lighting. The speakers for the Bluetooth are better than expected.” A third shared: “Great quality for money!” Someone else wrote: “I love this mirror. I can see every detail when applying my makeup and it looks the part too.” A fifth person posted: “This is such a genius idea! My daughter loves hers.”
However, there were a few unhappy buyers. One warned that there’s “no return option”, adding: “Debenhams won’t accept the return to them as it’s sold via a third party. [They] just keep telling me to wait.”
Someone else, who bought the product on Amazon for £110, claimed: “The power button doesn’t always respond as effectively as I’d like. It’s not a huge issue, but it can be a little frustrating.”
There are plenty of alternatives available elsewhere for similar products. If you need something more compact, without compromising on that Hollywood style, Amazon sells this FENCHILIN Hollywood Mirror for £64.99 that’s 30cm wide but around 40cm tall.
It has a music speaker on the back panel and wireless charging capabilities from a shelf for your smartphone. It also comes with a detachable magnifying mirror “to help apply mascara, eyeliner, eyebrow and lipstick flawlessly”.
Elsewhere, The Range also sells a 48cm Bluetooth Hollywood Vanity Mirror by Bright Deal Well Limited for £72. it comes in two sizes with a larger 108cm wide mirror costing £110.
