Home Bargains shoppers can’t agree on a £14.99 garden decoration, with some calling it ‘adorable’ while others think it is ‘creepy’. The bargain chain has a reputation for selling affordable home and garden products. While the products often go viral on social media, not everyone is impressed by the store’s new outdoor decorations.
As seen on Instagram, Home Bargains is selling stone-look outdoor accessories. The Star Buys range includes a £14.99 ‘Standing child with pet decoration’ and a £17.99 ‘Sitting children ornament.’
Posting the items on social media, Home Bargains wrote: “The sweetest little garden ornaments from £14.99—if you spot them, grab them. One or two?” The post racked up hundreds of likes and comments, but not everyone was so convinced by the range.
One fan commented: “So beautiful.” A second shopper thought: “Very early 90s old person garden. Love it.” Another viewer said: “Love it,” and someone praised: “Omg I need them all.”
However, some people were less pleased. A viewer said: “They are giving horror movie! Coming into your house at night in the dark.” Someone claimed: “So freaky!” Another response said: “Sorry but these are awful.”
Meanwhile, a social media user thought: “Horrible.” Someone else replied: “Very creepy and tacky.”
