Coco & Eve is massively reduced in Amazon’s latest Spring Sale event, with its fake tans and haircare slashed by up to 30%

Amazon’s Spring Deal Days are here, running from now (March 10) until Monday, March 16, meaning we have just under a week to snag ourselves a bargain on the likes of homeware, gadgets, tools and, of course, some beauty bits. One brand taking part in the Amazon Big Spring Sale is viral hit Coco & Eve, whose fake tan and hair masques have earned itself quite the reputation of delivering unreal results, whether its a sunkissed glow ahead of the spring season, or luscious, revitalised locks.

Knocking 30% off some of its best-selling products, it’s an ideal opportunity for fans of Coco & Eve to stock up on their favourites for less, including its Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam, which is down from £26 to £18.20, as well as the Antioxidant Face Tanning Micromist, also £18.20 from £26. A Top 10 bestseller in body self-tanners on Amazon, its price beating Coco & Eve’s own sale, and a viral product on social media – one is sold every 20 seconds – the bronzing foam delivers a streak-free, natural looking fake tan that gives that ‘just-back-from-Ibiza’ look – without any of the sun damage.

Thanks to its green-grey base, the tan develops into a golden bronze without any orange undertones and is created using Coco & Eve’s Cellushape formula, which works to hydrate and firm the skin.

Taking as little as six hours to develop, the tan is also loved for its pleasant scent – making a nice change from the typical biscuit-y smell often accompany thing this kind of product – which is mango and guava. If this doesn’t quite suit, there are a range of other tans whose smell is relatively nice – such as Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam, usually £17.49 now £10.49 at Lookfantastic, which has a more coconut smell.

Beauty buffs who prefer a gradual tan moisturiser, Gatineau’s Golden Glow Gradual Tan is more expensive at £41.24 (from £55 at Face The Future, 400ml) but its scent is subtle and not at all overpowering. Not to mention it builds a lovely tan over a few days.

The Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam comes in medium, dark and ultra dark.

Made with Raw Virgin Coconut and Mango, Fig and Cocoa, the Coco & Eve fake tan’s formula is enriched with powerful natural antioxidants as well as botanicals and amino acids, making sure its user not only gets a lovely glow, but a skin boost too. Formulated to help improve signs of aging, its hydration heros moisturise and help firm the skin. Available in three shades (medium, dark and ultra dark), users of the fake tan have praised how its application has ‘no dry streaky lines/patches’.

With a 4.8 star rating on Coco & Eve’s website and 4.3 stars on Amazon, the Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam is ideal for giving users a bit of a confidence boost coming into spring, with one shopper raving: “Best self tanner I’ve tried EVER! I’m fairly skinned and every brand I’ve tried has missed the mark until this one.”

Another added: “I’ve tried quite a few self-tanners, and Coco & Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Self Tan Mousse is one of my favourites. It smells amazing compared to most self-tanners. The colour is very natural and buildable (but one coat is more than enough), so you can go for a light glow or a deeper tan without it turning orange. Once it develops, it doesn’t transfer onto clothes or bedding, which is a huge plus.’

Someone else raved how it doesn’t transfer onto clothes or sheets either, stating: “Best tanning mouse ever and I have tried a lot! Doesn’t smell, it lasts. It’s a lovely colour too! No transfer on your clothes. I’m sticking with this one from now on! Highly recommend.”

While most people have loved the colour of the tan, some people were left disappointed that it wasn’t what they were expecting, with one person remarking how it was more of an “olive” colour for them.

Elsewhere in the Amazon sale, haircare fans can get their hands on the £30 Like A Virgin Hair Masque for £21. Promising to revive dry, damaged tresses – a necessity post winter – the hair mask contains coconut, fig, shea butter, linseed and argan oil and delivers a 5-in-1 treatment whose ‘nourishing, intensive formula’ helps restore hair to its ‘virgin’ condition, ie healthy, shiny and silky-soft, as the brand notes.

To be left on for five to ten minutes, the masque has an impressive 4.8 star rating with shoppers claiming how it’s made their hair ‘ easier to manage and style with no knots’. One five star review read: “Absolutely fallen in love with this! Will be buying again! I have very thick long hair and it has made it feel like silk, smells amazing and has tamed it. Win win.”

Another added: “It really works. My hair is soft, doesn’t break or fall out. And truly controls the frizz. You won’t be disappointed.” Although not everyone loved it as some people found it to be a smidge too heavy for their liking, with one person stating: “This mask smells so fresh and just nice not too much, and it made my hair pretty soft. But I definitely can’t applied it to my roots only my ends, it is too heavy for my hair.”

For those who want the Like A Virgin benefits in a shampoo and conditioner, the brand’s haircare duo is also on sale for £25.20 down from £36. Formulated with argan oil, coconut and avocado oil, it helps repair dry, damaged or colour-treated hair all the while reducing frizz. Meanwhile, those who don’t want to fully commit to a haircare routine can get the heat-protectant Frizz Fix & Pro Shine Mist for £16.80 from £24. The lightweight spray claims to be multi-tasking as it not only reportedly delivers 72-hour frizz control, but the brand states how it’s been clinically proven to reduce frizz by 80%, while protecting the hair from temperatures up to 220°C / 428°F.
