For many Brits, the festive season is synonymous with indulging in rich foods aplenty. However, this can lead to uncomfortable bloating after meals – a real party pooper during what should be the jolliest time of the year.

One solution to tackle bloating, wind and indigestion could be a supplement like Dr Vegan’s Debloat and Detox. While it’s not a magic cure for conditions such as IBS or a substitute for prescribed medication, the ingredients in these supplements can aid in managing symptoms.

Crafted to combat post-meal bloating, support a healthy liver, and flush out toxins, Debloat and Detox boasts a potent mix of botanicals and amino acids. Priced at £18.99, each pouch houses 60 capsules meant for twice-daily intake over a month, averaging about 63p per day, reports Wales Online .

For those keen on saving a few quid on the supplement, purchasing two pouches offers a 5% discount, bringing the cost down to £35.99 from £37.98. Buying three pouches saves 10%, reducing the price to £50.99 from £56.97. Alternatively, signing up for a monthly subscription drops the price of one pouch to £16.14 per month (54p a day).

One of the key ingredients in the supplement is Milk Thistle, known to support liver health and aid healthy digestive processes. Moreover, Milk Thistle seed contains Silymarin, which bolsters the production of ‘glutathione’, the body’s primary detoxification enzyme.

Debloat & Detox

For bloating after eating, a healthy liver, and removing toxins from your body, Debloat & Detox is a high strength blend of botanicals and amino-acids including Milk Thistle (2500mg), Silymarin, Fennel, Dandelion, Burdock and L-Glutamine.

The research-led formula also includes an optimal dose of 60 mg of Burdock Root, reputed to contribute to digestive comfort and contain effective antioxidants known to assist liver function. Meanwhile, Fennel Seeds have reportedly demonstrated beneficial effects on the digestive system.

The formula is completed with Prebiotics to nourish the good bacteria in the gut, and Artichoke Leaf Extract, which can alleviate feelings of fullness, indigestion and digestive discomfort. It works by aiding the body to process food at a good pace, thereby keeping bloating at bay.

However, Dr Vegan isn’t the only brand offering a product that combats bloating. Wild Dose offers A Dose For Bloating , formulated to ease discomfort, water retention and gas. These are, however, pricier at £26 for 60 capsules. Over a year, if taken daily, it would cost £312, compared to £227.88 if purchasing Dr Vegan monthly.

JSHealth also provides their own Detox + Debloat Formula , priced at £32.99 for 60 capsules. It’s claimed to support occasional bloating, promote healthy digestion and may support normal liver function.

Back at Dr Vegan, hundreds of customers have shared their experiences with the Debloat and Detox supplement. One wrote: “Definitely help with digestion and lessen feelings of bloating, after my evening meal.. Take them religiously.”

Another user, called Nicki, commented: “I have suffered with IBS symptoms for a year now and in one month my bloating and constipation has almost gone – I’ve had one or two instances this month compared to every single day. It is quite pricey but it compares well to other similar products and the ingredients are natural and high quality. I can’t imagine I’ll ever stop taking them.”

Nevertheless, what proves effective for one individual may not benefit another, with one purchaser noting: “I used this for 30 days and found no difference. On a positive, despite the capsules being large, they are easy to swallow.

“Less bloating and stomach pain after eating, and no uncomfortable, hard full tummy that made it impossible to do sit ups,” remarked a fourth buyer. “I will be repeating the order when it comes to renewal as been really impressed.”

A fifth declared: “This product I now regard as being essential for looking after and maintaining my digestive system. It definately has reduced my bloating problem and also greatly assists my complete gut function. I wouldn’t be without it now hence my being on the subscribing repeat programme. It’s a life saver in all honesty.”
