Buying perfume for someone else at Christmas can be tricky, especially if you don’t know exactly what they like. However, Debenhams shoppers think they’ve found a guaranteed hit with this popular Chloé scent – and even better, it has been slashed in price in a pre-Christmas sale.
Chloé Eau de Parfum Intense for Women has over 1,000 five star reviews on the Debenhams website from shoppers calling it “sensual”, “elegant” and “romantic”. And in an unmissable deal, all bottle sizes currently have 30% off; this means that a 30ml bottle now costs £52.50 instead of £75, a 50ml bottle is down from £102 to £71.40, and a large 100ml bottle offers the biggest saving of the lot: £94.50 instead of its usual £135 price.

First up, we think this Chloé scent makes a gorgeous Christmas present just by looking at it, with its ribbed glass bottle and burgundy ribbon.
Of course, though, what’s most important is what it smells like. Described as an ‘addictive floral fragrance’, this EDP has notes of juicy raspberry, rose and warm woods, creating a modern, feminine fragrance that we think would suit anyone – and shoppers clearly agree, judging by the hundreds of positive reviews.
“I absolutely love this perfume! It’s so strong everyone at work compliments me when I wear it! I actually purchased the full size product because I enjoyed it so much!” wrote one of the many customers who said they receive plenty of compliments whenever they wear it.
Another remarked on how perfect if was for this time of year, writing: “This fragrance screams to me…festive! It is really beautiful, and I can imagine it makes a perfect Christmas gift. But I would wear it any ordinary day as well, I think it suits winter time though. Stunning.”

One shopper, however, did say that it wasn’t for them – although it did suit someone else much better: “Not a fan of this smell on me. It’s not that it doesn’t smell nice, just on my skin chemistry it smells kinda odd and I wasn’t a huge fan. It smells much nicer on my mother!”
