Cat Deeley has shared the secret to her glowy skin on This Morning, and it’s thanks to a shimmering body oil that ‘smells delish’ and hydrates and brightens your skin

The current heatwave has got us all bearing more skin, and Cat Deeley is no exception. The TV presenter has been rocking a variety of mini dresses, shorts and skirts whilst hosting This Morning this week, and she’s finally shared how she keeps her legs looking so glowy and hydrated in the heat.

Cat shared a behind the scenes clip which shows her topping up her legs with Phlur’s Beach Skin Shimmering Body Oil, writing on Instagram : “Currently loving this! Smells delish!” The body oil hydrates, brightens and gives skin a glow, with a huge 120ml bottle costing just £45.

You can apply the Beach Skin Shimmering Body Oil on bare skin or over the top of fake tan to give your bronze a boost, and is packed with skincare ingredients so it actually benefits your skin as well. It contains parmela and jojoba oil, as well as ceramide-rich rosehip, which hydrate your skin and lock in moisture and get rid of dry, chalky and dull-looking skin.

It also contains vitamin C which brightens up your skin and improves the tone, making it look smoother and brighter. Finally, skin-mimicking lipids encourage plump, healthy-looking skin barriers, which gives you a flawless glow.

Rather than glitter, the Beach Skin Shimmering Body Oil has more of a subtle golden glimmer, which gives a more natural-looking glow, rather than an artificial sparkle. Unlike some oils which can feel greasy or sticky on the skin, it has a lightweight velvety texture which soaks in quickly and melts into your skin so you can apply it before you get ready, or whilst fully dressed (just like Cat).

As well as improving the look and feel of your skin, it has a summery scent that’s perfect for layering with your favourite perfumes. With notes of ocean mist, coconut and tiare blossom, it leaves a fresh, fragrant trail that follows you long after you’ve applied it.

Summer is definitely the season to stock up body oils, and there’s some other great picks out there too. The Saltair Salt Water Vanilla Shimmering Body Oil is known for its amazing vanilla, sandalwood and sea salt scent, and is packed with skin-improving ingredients. Plus, at £28 for 118ml, it’s even more affordable than Cat’s Phlur body oil.

If you also want to boost your bronze at the same time as your glow, Sol de Janeiro’s Glowmotions Rio Sunset Bronze Glow Oil is on sale for £22.50 down from £30, and comes in two different shades to suit various skin tones. To make sure you’re still getting your sun protection, Kopari’s Beauty Sunglaze Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen has SPF30 built into its glow-boosting formula, making skin soft and supple whilst preventing sun damage.
