It seems Cat Deeley caused the Reiss website to crash after she wore its flattering yellow top on This Morning earlier this week, but thankfully you can still shop it in all sizes
After Cat Deeley appeared on This Morning on Tuesday in a flattering yellow draped top, the Reiss website – where her top was from – promptly crashed. Although we can’t guarantee that it was because of Cat’s Simone Drape-Neck Shell Top, we’d be shocked if it wasn’t a slew of shoppers desperate to copy her look.
Despite this temporary rush to snap up the top, once the Reiss website had been restored to normal we were pleased to see that the yellow Drape-Neck Shell Top was actually still available in all sizes from a 4 to a 16, with only the size 18 currently sold out.

Priced at £118, it’s not hard to see why Cat’s Simone Drape-Neck Shell Top was so popular. The bold yellow colour is the perfect shade for gradually transitioning into spring, and the draped, high neck silhouette is ultra flattering on all body shapes. Rather than your usual sleeveless blouse silhouette, the draped neckline adds some high-end looking details, and it has slashed sides around the arm holes for some added edge.
The Simone Drape-Neck Shell Top is a versatile and easy to style wardrobe addition. Wear it with flared jeans and some trainers for the daytime, or pair with wide leg trousers and heels for work.
It might be winter right now, but even the fabric of the Reiss Simone Drape-Neck Shell Top is enticing us into our spring wardrobes. Its crepe material is breathable and lightweight, meaning you’ll get plenty of wear out of it through the balmy spring and hot summer months, and it’s easy to layer under other pieces for the colder months.
If you prefer to cover your arms, you can pick up this similar design from Mother of Pearl at The Outnet. The Draped Satin-Twill Top, £138 (was £250), has an elegantly draped neckline just like Cat’s Reiss top, but features short sleeves and a more boxy silhouette for a more relaxed, but still elegant, look.
If you’re after a slightly more casual look that keeps the same vibe as Cat’s top, the Ellie Co-ord from Free People is priced at £78 and you’ll get a gorgeous butter-yellow high neck sleeveless top and matching column skirt in the set. Although you can effortlessly wear the co-ord with sandals or trainers for a chic, breezy beach look, you could just as easily wear it with a pair of kitten heels and a statement clutch bag for the evening, making it a versatile pick.
If Cat’s Simone Drape-Neck Shell Top has your heart, though, you can still shop it at Reiss now.
