A British man has died after reportedly being kicked and punched in the head at a popular tourist town in Portugal – emergency services rushed to the scene at around 3am on Saturday morning
A 60-year-old British man has died after reportedly being kicked and punched in the head in a popular tourist town.
The Brit was said to have been assaulted in the Algarve holiday town of Lagos, in Portugal. He was reportedly attacked in the town’s bar and nightclub area at around 3am on Saturday morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene and attempted to revive the man before he was taken to Lagos Hospital – where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.
Paramedics, firefighters and officers from Portugal’s PSP police force responded to the emergency call.
It was not immediately clear today if any arrests have been made in connection to the death.
