The Estee Lauder Magical Must-Haves set is worth £139 but has been reduced to £49 – and it’s the perfect gift for Christmas
There are few products quite as renowned as Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex . The £65 serum is adored by countless celebrities, including the likes of Elizabeth Hurley and Molly-Mae Hauge – and I’ve found a way to snag it for £12.25 this Black Friday.
As part of their weekly Star Gifts, health and beauty retailer Boots has released a ‘must haves’ set containing four Estée Lauder bestsellers. Worth £139, the Estée Lauder Magical Must-Haves has been reduced to £49, saving £90 on the contents.
Inside are three full-size beauty products for “healthier-looking skin and mesmerising lashes”, Chronicle Live reports. First, the Advanced Night Cleansing Gelée “washes away makeup and impurities from skin’s surface, without stripping or disturbing the moisture barrier” and ” helps skin feel soft, comfortable, balanced”.

The DayWear Creme Moisturiser SPF15 infuses skin with an intense surge of moisture that lasts 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Double Wear zero smudge mascara promises to create “long lashes that last”.
But the hero product is undoubtedly the Advanced Night Repair Serum , which “helps skin look smoother and less lined, younger, more radiant and even toned”. Valued at £65 alone, it’s already worth £16 more than the price you pay for the whole set, rendering the other three products essentially free.
Another way to look at it is to divide the price you pay by the number of products inside, which comes to £12.25 . The moisturiser is usually £33, while the mascara is worth £29.50. Here’s everything inside the set:

Customers have given the set an overall rating of 4.5 out of five. A number of people have praised the mascara. One said: “Great mascara. Love this mascara really nice to wear. Makes my lashes look so much fuller and doesn’t leave any black flaky bits.”
Another added: “Creates lovely lashes. Mascara comes with a little wand which I love so much easier to coat all the lashes. Product has a creamy texture and easily glides over lashes. Doesn’t clump or smudge. Lasts well throughout the day. Would purchase again.”
One shopper liked the night serum and commented: “Best night serum. I’ve been using this for many years, it really is the best anti aging night serum. My skin looks fresher in the morning.”
And a fan of the moisturiser added: “My skin has never looked better since I started using this moisturiser. Foundation glides on easily and looks fresh.”
Some shoppers were, however, not impressed. Writing about the mascara, one reviewer said: “I thought I would try a more expensive mascara as I am always disappointed with how clumpy they all are. This was just as disappointing as the cheap ones, waste of money.”
And a comment regarding the moisturiser crème read: “It doesn’t work for combination of skin.
