Boots £35 K-beauty box worth £140 is packed with ‘amazing’ products for dry skin

The new haul launched on Boots’ website this week and stars popular brands like Dr Jart, beauty of Joseon and Purito

Beauty fans have been racing to Boots for their latest skincare edit, which saves more than £105 on some of the retailer’s most in-demand products. The new Korean & Japanese Skincare Edit costs £35, but Boots says the contents have a combined value of £140.68, saving around 75% on the RRP.

The limited-edition beauty box contains nine products from some of the biggest names in K-beauty and J-beauty, including Beauty of Joseon, Dr.Jart+, Haruharu Wonder, Biodance, Purito and Curél. The launch comes as demand for Korean skincare continues to skyrocket, with Boots claiming sales of K-beauty products increased more than fivefold over the past year.

According to the health and beauty retailer, one Korean skincare product sold every 11 seconds last year. And the reason it’s so sought after isn’t just because it’s all over TikTok – it’s because the formulas frequently focus on gentle ingredients, skin barrier support and minimalist, moisture-focused formulations.

One of the standout products is the Dr.Reju-All Advanced PDRN Rejuvenating Cream, which is worth £25.90 on its own. Developed by doctors and pharmacists with a focus on safe, effective ingredients, in Korea it sold over one million units in six months, often selling out in local pharmacies.

The cream contains PDRN, Niacinamide, Panthenol, Collagen, and Hyaluronic Acid, which is a seriously strong lineup designed to repair damaged skin, deeply hydrate and calm irritation.

One five-star review of the lightweight gel cream said: “I have been using it twice daily and saw visible results from probably day four. My skin feels amazing and the redness in my cheeks has vastly reduced. It goes on beautifully under moisturiser and makeup, no pilling. My skin feels great since starting this.”

Another added: “This product has changed the game for me. I have extremely dry skin and have never found any combination that kept me hydrated for more than 30 mins. It keeps me glowing all day, skin is plump, fine lines are less noticeable and I have an even texture.”

But not everyone was sold on it, with a three-star review reading: “I bought this because a friend of mine was saying it was amazing. I didn’t really get the hype. I have quite a good skin routine already, so I couldn’t tell the difference. It might be amazing for dry skin. I loved the texture.”

But it’s not the only impressive product in the edit, with a mix of skincare and even makeup picks featured, too. The set also includes the cult-favourite Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick, while Haruharu Wonder’s Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream offers an alternative to traditional retinol eye treatments for those looking for a gentler ingredient.

The Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads 10 pack are the perfect size for a holiday, while the Curél Deep Moisture Spray is a heatwave hero for cooling and soothing the skin. Worth £15.95, there’s also a Laka Fruity Glam Tint which is a high-shine, semi-sheer tint, with the shade salty being a gorgeous warm nude.

Elsewhere, a range of other retailers are also offering K-beauty sets perfect for kickstarting a new routine, or putting up for Christmas. Sephora’s Best of K-Beauty set is £45 and stars brands like Aestura, Beauty of Joseon, Dr. Althea and Dr. Jart.

At Selfridges, the The K-Beauty Skincare Kit is worth £129 but is priced at £60, making Boots’ better value overall. However, it does contain some different brands, including Medicube, Anua and Laneige.

Meanwhile, LookFantastic’s K Beauty Edit is £40 but worth Over £115. Its the third of its kind from the retailer, boasting formulas from Innisfree, Haruharu, Biodance and Dr Jart, all coming in a handy travel bag.

Back at Boots, the K and J Beauty edit, which stars six full-size products alongside three deluxe-sized skincare favourites, is perfect for anyone curious about trying Korean or Japanese skincare without purchasing full routines individually.

There’s a great mix of cleansers, moisturising products, SPF, targeted treatments and makeup, however, as with any pre-curated beauty box, the value depends on whether buyers use most of the products included. As part of the set, each item works out under £4, but if shoppers are only interested in one or two items, buying those separately could be more cost-effective.
